    E3 2011 Discussion

See as E3 is nearing upon us, I was wondering what big games people here are looking forward to.

Me personally, I'm hoping for an inkling of news on FFvsXIII and ME 3. I usually try to watch all of the pressers too from the Big 3.

    EDIT (cdj)

Diablo 3 and Battlefield 3 are definitely close 2nd and 3rd behind RAGE and probably more news about Doom 4/Quake 5 as well as more information about Deus Ex: Human Revolution (though there is a leaked reviewer copy of it out on the internet that I'm debating on whether or not I should play it or just wait and play the real game instead...)

The first post in the thread has been updated with press conference schedules, how/where to view them, and games announced to be featured by each company.

Konami will be holding a pre-E3 press conference tomorrow evening.

I never actually watch any of the press conferences or anything. Those are incredibly boring. I just watch all the snippet videos of everything I'm interested in after the fact (and watch the Totally Rad Show's coverage of it).

I really want to play that too. I never played the first one, so I'm sure my laptop now can handle it, might have to look into getting it.

I love the press conferences. I went to the Nintendo and Sony conferences last year. At the Sony event, we got to see all the 3D demos in 3D. I know on tv, they could only show the 2D videos.

Microsoft's conference will be at 11:30AM CST, not PM.

The some of the cinematics reminds me of a cross between Blade Runner and Robo-cop with a sprinkle of The Matrix.

It's more like a mixture of Shadowrun (not the horrible FPS that came out a while back, but the pen and paper RPG) and Metal Gear/Splinter Cell (gameplay/government wise as it's a lot of sneaking around and infiltration and stuff with a lot of covert ops stuff and who did what type of stuff going on).

It definitely has a Blade Runner feel to it as well though. I'm excited for it.

I'm adding the Tomb Raider reboot to my list. I love me some Tomb Raider and I somehow forgot about it being in development.
