- I've always been lukewarm on chatboxes as I think it defeats the purpose of the forum. Though, it it solely catches miscellaneous banter, it may not be so bad. The idea keeps getting brought up and we do talk about it in the admin each time. Eventually, we might cave.

- ALL members currently have the ability to write up an article via the Blog feature and there should be the ability on that page to share the link on Twitter, Facebook, etc. I think the Blog feature is a great avenue for someone if they want to start writing their own series of game reviews, strategy tips, etc.

We've been slow to do so, but we do have some ideas for icons for members. Something special for 1,000 might be in order, but I'd rather make sure to highlight guys who were here when we started on the ground level, like yourself.

There is also the ability to put your chat contact in your profile, you can hit peeps up that way. One addition may be to be able to add your Gchat or gmail info since you can chat right within Gmail, for those that have it. They also just put out that you can chat with people that are on AIM, etc from with gmail.

I've Gmail since the beginning of it, and I've never used the Gchat. It would be cool to use that to chat with people during the football season.

It's pretty cool... chatting with a dude right now. It's nice as I have my Gmail open all day and it just pops up when someone hits me up. The other nice thing is if you are offline and someone tries to chat with you it shows up like a new email and you can reply via email.
