Nothing announced yet, but it is being speculated as one of EA SPORTS' new titles.

2K's deal ends next year, and no signs of that getting extended yet.

No way there's another NCAA baseball game. If EA can hardly sell NCAA basketball, baseball has no shot.

baseball extention runs out next year.. does the EA and madden contract end as well? If EA extends so will 2K.

and NCAA baseball was a pretty big hit in 05 and 06.. i dont know why it would not sell

2k won't extend. They've already said that they're losing millions upon millions on the deal, every year. No way they extend.

EA and Madden were extended this year because of the lockout -- now goes through 2013.

Thanks Jeff. Thats good news that they will not extend. Iactually enjoyed the EA baseball Series more. Do you think EA will continue the Football one? Id like to see some competition, it seems to push the teams harder to make a better game.

EA will continue the exclusive license as long as it makes financial sense. There have been several reports over the last year that it was actually the NFL that asked for an exclusive deal, and had the publishers bid on it, rather than EA asking for it. I would think the NFL would want to continue exclusive licenses (they sure made a lot of money off of this one), and if that's the case then I would imagine that EA would continue paying for it.

The MLB license expires in 2012. That would suggest that EA could possibly release a baseball game next year. I did see an article recently that downplayed the idea that EA was already working on a new baseball title, but I can't find it right now.

I would love to have a PS3 version of a NCAA baseball game. LOVED playing both those games to death.

According to VGChartz, NCAA 06 sold 600k just on PS2 alone (which is all the data they have for any of the NCAA Baseball games)....I wouldn't rule it out 100% that they would do an NCAA Baseball game again, but I think MVP would come first.

    VGChartz.com

They only had PS2 data, not the original XBOX.

IF MVP 06 followed the same trend as MVP 05 when comparing PS2 & Xbox, MVP 06 sold around 300k. That's probably the HIGH mark... for MVP 07, I imagine the sales fell off dramatically for both.

Yeah once word that the all they did with the rosters on 07 was take them from one team (i.e. Georgia Tech) and make that another team's rosters....along with not that many improvements. I was pissed when I heard what they did with the rosters.

Yeah 06 was first followed by 07, and that was it.
