I don't think I believe this but can you imagine the Eagles getting rid of McNabb last year and now Reid.

I have always thought Gruden was to stick by his contract for MNF. Which has one more year left on it.

So the Eagles hoped to put out the fire on Monday morning by issuing a statement that said the rumors of Reid being replaced by Monday Night Football commentator Jon Gruden are "simply not true."
