I love how going against Papa for a recruit is just a fight against the inevitable.

    63-0
    80-6
    66-7
    73-0
    75-0

Granted none of us were playing a decent team but it's really a shame that we can't get competitive sliders.

I agree, and I just loaded the new sliders before advancing as well.

In creating sliders I go into practice mode and tweak until I get things where I think they should be, then I go into play now and test. As others have said in the past play now plays different than dynasty, between that and the fact its hard to account for the CPU's boneheaded playcalling tendancies it becomes hard to tweak the sliders.

That being said I am going to start using all of you as play testers and tweak based off of the user vs CPU game stats going forward. I'm not going to make dramatic changes from week to week, but I am begining to think this may be the only way to go forward with sliders.

Damn it. I gave up the most points...7. I could have easily put up 100. I only scored 14 in the 3rd and 3 in the 4th. Chewing the clock and running the ball.

I usually pull it in after 50 as well. That is the magic number. After that I just chew clock and run the ball between the tackles.

For me, early in the season I'll play a whole game, but with most of my backups in the second half. That way I can get a sense of how well they play.

That's not a bad idea. I just hate seeing the negative sportsmanship points. My starters always play the entire 1st half and I try. If I'm up big I mass sub 2nd string and run the ball with chew clock on in the 2nd half.

I sub my starters if I am up more than 35 in the second half.

I have had an issue with mass subs but that is because I have redshirted my back ups at FS and SS.

I noticed last night after doing so that all of a sudden my secondary had the following for a whole drive.

    CB- MLB FR
    CB- CB FR
    CB- OLB FR
    CB- QB JR
    FS- QB JR
    SS- MLB FR

I couldn't get them off the darn field because of the hurry up so I played a series with them in there. Gotta say, not to shabby. My QB's played surprisingly well and only gave up a FG on the drive.

After that series and from here on out, I will just plug who I want and where and skip the whole mass subs thing.
