If Week 12 somehow lasts until January 10th when Oneback goes on his little trip ... I'd be okay with that

LOL - it's a good thing I am not as over confident in our game as you are under confident. I went into our game last year thinking there was no way you would win based on your performance against simular opponents...and look how that turned out.

The only time I've been confident in the last two years, at least against anybody on our current coach roster, was going into my last game in PH '10 versus Snoop ... and I got walloped. I think that's what killed my confidence.

Okay, some kind of switch just turned on for the Northwestern defense. They've sacked me 4 times in the game, all on the last two drives. Mostly on blitzes that were not picked up at all by my linemen, but at least one where they just beat my OL. My QB was only sacked 7 times this season coming into this game, so wtf.

A good coach would make sure his team is not looking ahead to the next weeks big game!

There is no one on that team, including the coach, looking forward to next week, lol.

Ohio State rolls over Northwestern, 48-3, setting up a possible Top 5 showdown with Michigan in Ann Arbor (is a whore) next week. QB Mark Garcia earned Player of the Game recognition yet again, and the starters were pulled after the first scoring drive of the second half. Jimmy Redmond grabbed two touchdowns, but was otherwise unremarkable. Buckeye quarterbacks spread the ball to 9 receivers in all during the game.

The Buckeyes defense finally gave some hope for Columbus, yielding only 153 yards while their offense ran up 429.

The #5 Longhorns take down the #16 Oregon Ducks 49-21 in Autzen, OR.

Earl Campbell, Jr is hurt AGAIN for 7 weeks....again....for the 3rd time this season, he was hurt on the 2nd offensive drive of the game. I think he wanted to take his 2nd year off to avoid the 25-30 carry strategy we were going to orchestrate this season.

    ****

    Longhorn offense: 0 turnovers

QB Carlos McDaniel, FrRS: 9-9 123 yards

RB Traylon Shead, JrRS: 18 car 121 yards 2 TD

RB Earl Campbell Jr, So: 5 car 28 yards 1 TD

WR Mike Davis, JrRS: 4 rec 77 yards

TE Colton Hall, So: 3 rec 36 yards

    ****

Longhorn defense: 4 turnovers, 2-8 3rd down conversions allowed, 2.67 yards per rush allowed on 18 carries, 8 TFL, 3 touchdowns scored

    MLB Jordan Hicks, JrRS: 2 tackles, 1 INT-TD, 1 option-INT for TD

CB Marquis Cabral, Jr: 3 tackles (2 TFL), 1 sack, 1 forced fumble

    ****

Next up: THE Red River Shootout....'nuff said

I think that is a real possibility. I'm glad the big ten is showing their strength again this season.

I think the Pac 10 is the one with 2 teams in the top 5 but I might be wrong

I take it Prime wasn't able to get his game in before he left?

Edit - Actually just saw that he is idle this week. Anyone know if he recruited or is planning to while away?

I can't get in through the Wire. It keeps telling me the authentication servers are down.
