This game looks like Borderlands minus the cartoony look plus some crack.
And now if you get the Epic Edition, you get access to the Gears 3 beta.

Preordered all the way. I was already going to buy it day one, but now with Gears 3 beta included...HELL MOTHER FUCKING YEAHHHH!
Great parody of the Halo commercial
Man I cannot wait....

Demo is next Tuesday.
It comes out the same day as Killzone 3, so good luck getting some play time, Bulletstorm.
Used my deal I got with Living Social and applied it to the pre-order of this. So I'll get in the Gears 3 beta, and release date delivery was only $0.99 for it.
I've had it preordered for awhile as well, partially for the game and partially for the Gears 3 beta. The game itself will be fun, and Gears 3 is looking like perhaps this generation's best multiplayer shooter experience, so it should be the complete package.
As long as there aren't a million glitches for 10-year olds to find.
I don't think there will be. They said they could've released it in March if they wanted to, but Microsoft wanted to wait, so this should be one hell of a polished beta. Not to mention if you get to top rank in the beta, it unlocks something for the final game.
Played the demo and it was basically what I expected. A kickass blast. The only mode in the demo is called Echoes which is basically a race through a map to score the most points and I think rack up a quick time too. This is a separate mode from online and campaign, and looks to be a good one to try to compare against your buddies with as you try to perfect your skill shots. I think this game is definitely going to be worth a buy for me as I figure Cliffy is going to put a pretty decent campaign into this.
Played the demo... it was alright but not my cup of tea. I'm not a leaderboard whore so replaying the same level over & over to improve my score doesn't really interest me so the replayability is small.
Yeah, I realize that, but unless the campaign has a great story, I just don't see the $60 value in it, especially since the online mode is only co-op (which I can understand considering the gameplay style). I"ll eventually play it, but either when I decide to rent it or it drops way down.
I played it and was what I expected. I don't care if it sucked, it was a day one purchase because of the Gears 3 beta. But I thoroughly enjoyed it as I knew I would, so I'm definitely eagerly anticipating it.
On another note, I can only imagine how bad the control scheme is going to work

Downloaded the demo lastnight. Originally I had no interest in getting the game but I may pick it up after playing.
Maybe I should try the demo again, thought it was 'eh'.
