My goodness Papa, you texted me last night when it was 42-10 and I was wondering if it was the PSU game score, granted I was half asleep at that point.

Just felt like Michigan in year 1 all over again. 2 fumble returns for td's in first qtr after trading 50+ yard rushing td's. Next drive I lost dukes till 4th qtr and it got ugly.

Big play of game early, up 28 10 PSU went for a 4th and 1 at the 19 yd line and Redd got stood up at the line by a very good play by papa the fs.

Good game, papa and good luck the rest of the way.

Good luck to you, too, Snoop....that 1st quarter would've been "controller-breaking worthy" if it was on the other end....and I don't even throw controllers. Very odd how it turned out.

After sloppy start in downpour, Sooners pull out 47-28 win over #6 Ole Miss

After falling behind early, the Sooners scored the game's final 19 points after keeping Ole Miss around for much too long. The Sooners win against Ole Miss will knock the highest ranked non-user team from the top 10 and out of the way.

Blake Bell had 3 first half INTs but ended up torching Ole Miss later with 426 yards through the air and 3 TDs. He also took 8 carries for 33 yards.. the most by an OU QB to date.

Brennan Clay carried the ball 11 times for 97 yards and a TD, and also caught 2 passes for 67 yards and a TD. Freshman RB Nick Webster proved that he's a goal-line back getting 9 carries for 45 yards and 2 TDs. He also grabbed 2 passes for 15 yards. Roy Finch struggled to just -4 yards besides a 26 yard carry bringing his total to 22. Finch caught 2 passes for 30 yards.

Brett Muse was Bell's favorite target grabbing 6 passes for 166 yards and a 86-yard TD. Kenny Stills also caught a TD. Erik Richardson showed up with 4 catches for 53 yards.

Geneo Grissom had 4 TFLs. Humphrey and Chaisson had sacks. Tom Wort almost had a 2 INT day but dropped the 2nd INT in the endzone on fourth and goal. Eric Humphrey also recorded a safety. Pat Harris made a 36 yard field goal but we are still limited in the freshman's range.

Next week we find out if we are really a top five team with a College GameDay-backed visit to Madison to face the #8 Wisconsin Badgers.

Steve Bellisari started slow, throwing an INT on the Buckeyes' first offensive play of the game, and another later in the first quarter, but found his stride in the 2nd, ending the first half with three touchdown passes. The Buckeyes ended the half with two touchdowns in less than 30 seconds, thanks to a fumble on Missouri's kickoff return.

Ken-Yon Rambo had a career day, with 12 receptions for 133 yards and 2 touchdowns ... in the first half. He only caught one ball in the second half, a 29-yard touchdown pass.

Most importantly, the Buckeyes will leave Columbia for Columbus with no new injuries to care for.

USC takes out some frustration on Cincy blanking them 59-0. Kyle Prater goes off for 6 catches for 301 and 4 tds. The Bearcats were determined to stuff the run with 8 in the box leaving Prater running behind the secondary all day.

Looks like we are just waiting on prime and ID to recruit.
