#7 Oklahoma beats BYU 49-14 after finding QB, and relying on trio of backs

Drew Allen was the OU's starting QB when it started.. he went a terrible 0-for-5 with an INT. Blake Bell delievered a 180 yard performance and a TD.

Meanwhile, the running game.. well.. backs were the success story of the day:

Brennan Clay, JR - 15 car 180 yards 2 TD
    Roy Finch, JR - 11 car 108 yards 2 TD 2 rec 11 yards (18 YAC)
    Nick Webster, FR - 8 car 79 yards 3 rec 49 yards
Marshall Musil, SR - 1 car 1 yd TD
Erik Richardson (WR), SO - 1 car 6 yds TD also TD catch (1 rec, 1 dropped TD)

It was a good thing to get freshman back Nick Webster involved in our game plan early. I wanted to redshirt him but his abilites as a change of pace back is a difference maker.

On the defense: OLB Corey Nelson had 7 tackles, Chassion had 2 TFLs, Gabe Lynn snatched an INT, and Eric Humphrey forced and recovered a fumble by BYU QB Jake Heaps.

WR Kenny Stills had almost the play of the day breaking what would have been a 90 yard punt return TD but was tripped up by the kicker after 59 yards.

For BYU, RB Joshua Quezada had 113 yards on 27 carries and a TD. He also caught 6 passes for 42 yards.

BYU only scored in the fourth quarter while OU had already taken a 49-0 lead.

    PSU 31 USC 24

This was a battle they didn't end till the last snap of the game as it saw USC qb walker appear to overthrow his wr which led to a malcom Willis int. USC coaches were seen going ballistic on the sidelines yelling pass interference but no flags were thrown. I'm sure E uploaded that highlight so we'll let u guys decide. Ok I can't wait, it WAS pass interference as I was roaming a guy across the field I dropped right into his WR's lane and basically stopped him dead in his tracks, sorry bud should have been called but glad it wasn't lol.

Dukes went off for 150+ and a TD
Brown was good, throwing 1 TD and 1 INT.

FSU wins in a tough one, it was not over until a Jeff Luc pick 6 with 1:25 left in the game put FSU up by 10.

FSU thought it had Wisconsins redzone offense figured out and had held them to many FGs in the first half but the badgers caught fire in the 2nd half keeping FSU off balance for the rest of the game

    I f-in hate rain games.

Ohio State loses WR Jimmy Redmond for the game, OLB Joe Cooper for the game, and QB Joe Germaine. Germaine is expected to be healthy by the time Ohio State visits Happy Valley in Week 7, but may not be ready any sooner.
West Virginia loses QB Barry Brunetti for the game and HB Daquan Haggert for 4 weeks.

    This is just by halftime.

Despite struggling early, Ohio State rolls to an easy victory in the end, 42-9. The Buckeyes opened up the game in the 2nd quarter, turning a 7-3 1st quarter lead into a 28-3 halftime domination. Ken Yon Rambo led the way for Ohio State with 6 receptions for 137 yards and 2 TDs. This included an 88 yard catch and run on Steve Bellisari's first play of the game.

Be sure to watch the highlight (available on Dynasty Wire) of Ohio State CB Ahmed Plummer getting hit in the head by a pass, then the ball sitting on top of his helmet for several seconds before falling to the turf. If you miss it on Dynasty Wire, be sure to catch next Friday's episodes of Sportscenter, where it is sure to make #1 on the Not Top 10.
