The UI for play calling is REALLY bad.

also it doesn’t appear EA made ANY effort taking advantage of the SSDs on PS5 bc these challenges in UT take way too long (as long as on ps4). There are some AWKWARD cuts in music switching while waiting in UT

defense is PATHETIC

im glad the game is back for the sport i love but i dont think this is going to be a great game especially gameplay wise - feels like a modern madden clone with more option offenses and even WORSE defense ai for “wide open gameplay”

I'm glad the game is back.. but the Playcall UI is awful, looks like something made for PC back in 1993.

Defense is just plain AWFUL as well..

Yeah this is a Madden re-hash. The gameplay is just BAD. EA just has zero ability to code an even remotely decent football sim. I'm not even going to show some of the ways people have figured out how to dumb out zone defenses with the new smart route system

Sadly, I like soooo many others either have to go without or put up with this incompetence year after year.

Yeah I've seen enough - its the same Madden pile of SHIT gameplay covered up by some top notch graphics, improved commentary and the hype excitement of having College Football "back".

EA is INCOMPETENT or doesn't care enough to make a quality sports videogame. Hell, they cannot even protect their cash cow UT from practically giving away the current highest rated cards in the game completely screwing up the "market" and competitive balance of head-to-head. Whether its DEI hires or just laziness the company is NEVER going to improve the gameplay because the market does not (and will not) stop buying the product.

it was not made for people that want a quality sim either. It was made for casuals and has sold off the hype of being back.

people RIP madden for the same massive flaws this game has yet this pile of shit gets a pass
