A certain Hawaii fan has been awfully quiet about a point shaving scandal.

So has the Honolulu PD, no investigation here.

Someone send Yahoo reporters to Hawaii, break the story open and get a tan.

apparently urban meyer agreed to a contract this morning to coach ohio state. 7 years, $40 million.

probably just a disgruntled fan, fed up with how we've been playing lately. fwiw, the honolulu police said yesterday that there wasnt enough info in the anonymous letter to warrant an investigation.

Yep. Urban is denying it right now (probably to wait until after the holiday)...word is he'll keep Fickell on the staff as an assistant head coach, which is a good move. He's done pretty well considering.

Hmm. According to a story I'm reading from the AP newswire up here at work, Urban Meyer will not be appearing on the ESPN network this weekend after he requested he be taken off his assignment. It doesn't exactly point in one direction or the other in regards to if he is going to take over as the Ohio State coach, but more fuel on the fire for the rumor mill.

Yeah, that hit yesterday, and was mentioned on numerous occasions by ESPN on-air. To me, it just says that he didn't want to be even more of a distraction.
