I cannot imagine the backlash with the "always on" XB1 would have been. Good times undoubtedly would have ensued.
How? Aside from a lone incident in 2009 or 2010, I can't remember a time when Xbox Live has ever been down for a 24 hour period, which was the intended check in time if they had gone with the online always console. People would've been able to play their games just fine as long as it wasn't down for more than 24 hours.Quote:
