Conquest is cool, in theory, but falls short (imo) because there just aren't enough players to justify 5 bases. If it were 24 vs 24, I'd play it all the time.

Yeah, I don't know why they limited the player numbers on consoles like they did. On PC, it supports up to 32 vs 32 for Conquest, which is the perfect number. It's kind of baffling they cited technical reasons when MAG had 256 players playing at the same time with virtually no noticeable lag.

To be fair, I haven't even tried Rush on BF3 yet. It was so bad on Bad Company 2 that I'll never try it again. There is nothing more infuriating than trying to attack a team's objective, only to look back at your spawn and see half your team sniping. It's probably fun if you can get 4+ people that will consistently push for the objective, but I've never had that. It's definitely a game mode designed for those playing with full squads and communicating.

Conquest was the shit in Bad Company 2, but I don't find that enjoyable at all in BF3. So far, in the little time that I have played, I've been sticking to Team Deathmatch, which aside from the absolutely laughable spawn system, is mildly fun. I just have a hard time playing it. I don't know if it's because of the boring gun battles or what, but I don't even think I've played 20 hours yet. :D
We conference call each other on our cell phones to avoid chatting in-game. Problem solved. :)

This is my first real shooter game, I bought MW2 used about 3 weeks or so before this came out just to play a shooter before I got the game. I'm learning, but it is taking some time, well lots of time :D:D I'm getting better though.
