    MLB 15 The Show will formally feature baseball legends for the first time with one legend per MLB team.

    The legends can be earned by collecting a full team of players in Diamond Dynasty (The Show's version of Ultimate Team/MyTeam) or with some luck by landing their card within a DD pack. Incorporating legends via card collecting modes is extremely popular - and lucrative - so it was inevitable before Sony San Diego added it to The Show. The 30 legends span baseball history and are led by some notable stars including Ted Williams and Ernie Banks.

    It remains to be seen how the reaction will be should it prove extremely difficult to attain a specific legend and/or potential blowback by users who want legends in Franchise Mode but do not want to play (or invest) in Diamond Dynasty to do so. Perhaps the studio has planned (or should consider) a DLC pack that will unlock all legends for immediate Franchise use.

    The franchise had previously included the ability to create players and share rosters with other users. Some of the most popular community files featured rosters for all teams from a specific season. Some community members have already begun to wonder if this feature's popularity will change with legends now officially in the game, particularly if users do not agree with the ratings for legends. It is also unclear if legends can be used in Road to the Show.

    NBA Live 15 - 2015 All-Star Game Content & More

    A new game update (1.1 GB on PS4, 3.9 GB on XB1) is now available for NBA Live 15.

    The key addition is the 2015 NBA All-Star Game court, rosters, and uniforms. Also added were Houston's Chinese New Year's uniforms and updated baselines for Brooklyn. New shoes include the Air Jordan XX9 Black History Month, the Jordan CP3 VIII All-Star, and the Jordan Super Fly 3 All-Star. The update includes 100+ bug fixes and now allows users to substitute in injured players from the IR in Play Now and Learn Live modes.

    A new in-game roster and data update is also available. Miami's Hassan Whiteside gets another week of ratings increases, going from a 71 to 74 overall aided by +6 in Help Defense, +10 in Dunks, and +5 in Blocks. Milwaukee's Jaryd Bayless (+2) and Oklahoma City's Steven Adams (+2) were the other big gainers of the week.

    Madden NFL 15 - Post-season Roster Update

    The post-season roster update is now available for Madden NFL 15. This update factors in Super Bowl XLIV for ratings updates, as well as updated depth charts and injuries for all 32 teams.

    Fresh off his performance as Super Bowl MVP, Patriots QB Tom Brady improves to a 99 OVR rating. On the heels of his game-saving interception, cornerback Malcolm Butler improves from 70 to 77 overall.

    WWE 2K15 Patch 1.03 & 2K Showcase DLC Now Available

    It's a busy week for WWE 2K15 as new DLC and a game update are now available.

    The new DLC pack - 'One More Match' - features the rivalry between Randy Orton and Christian in 2011, with versions of the following wrestlers from that year: Christian, Randy Orton, Edge, Mark Henry, and Sheamus. The DLC pack retails for $9.99.

    Also available is game update 1.03 which address numerous issues with game functionality.

    NBA Live 15 - January 29 Roster Update

    New roster and data updates (dated January 29) are now available for NBA LIVE 15.

    There were no major bumps in overall ratings for players this week. The only player with an overall ratings increase or decrease greater than a single point was the Houston Rockets' Josh Smith who dropped down by two. Smith's biggest specific rating drops came in post defense (-8) and help defense (-14).

    This update adds in one of the two new all-black Chicago Bulls alternate uniforms as well as the Brooklyn Nets' Pride uniform. (Still missing from the game are the Miami Heat 'Black Tie' uniforms, as well as the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets Chinese New Year uniforms, revealed just earlier this week.)

    MLB The Show Community Manager Ramone Russell has posted some new MLB 15 game information and plans for the first gameplay reveal for the title.

    February 5 at 2 PM PT on Twitch, Sony San Diego Studio will show off the game and some of the new features.

    The blog from Russell reveals some new features such as 10 new minor league stadium (PS4 only), new General Manager Contracts and new Performance-based Player Progression as part of a Franchise Mode refresh, use of Legends within Diamond Dynasty and Franchise Mode, and the "Inside the Show" news suite designed to bring the latest news from around the league to the forefront for the user.     EA SPORTS has posted their Madden NFL 15 prediction for Super Bowl XLIX with the New England Patriots defeating the defending champion Seattle Seahawks 28-24.

    The EA SPORTS Madden simulation prediction has correctly predicted the Super Bowl winner in eight of the last eleven years, though last year it predicted a 31-28 OT victory for Denver. The Broncos were ultimately routed by Seattle 43-8.
