The latest NCAA Football 11 developer blog comes from Anthony White and discusses the One Back offensive series:

Anthony White here and I'm back with another blog in our offensive styles series. In our previous offensive styles blog we focused on the new additions we've made to the shotgun spread offense, namely the read option play. We also touched on the fact that the term 'spread offense' is an umbrella term that encompasses a number of offensive systems. One of those offensive systems is the one back offense. The one back offense is an offense that's primarily run from under center with only one back in the backfield. This offensive approach can be used in a variety of ways. The offense can use multiple receiver sets to spread the defense to throw the football (Memphis, UTEP) or use two tight ends to establish a physical power running game (Alabama, Idaho). The one back offense, in many circles, is often thought of as the original spread offense and rightfully so. ...

The latest NCAA Football 11 developer blog comes courtesy of Assistant Designer Anthony White and breaks down the spread offense and improvements coming to the game:

Hey NCAA Nation, I'm Anthony White, Assistant Designer on the Central Football team, and I'm here to bring you a series of blogs about the new offensive styles in NCAA Football 11. The term spread offense is an umbrella term that encompasses a number of offensive systems. Offensive systems such as the Run and Shoot, Air Raid, One Back, even the Flexbone Triple Option are often identified as being a type of spread offense. For the sake of this blog post I'm going to identify the spread offense as an offensive system that's primarily run from the shotgun, spreads the field with multiple receiver sets, and can be used to both run and pass the ball with equal success.

The second of three NCAA Football 11 Dynasty blogs discusses Prospects within Recruiting.

Russ Kiniry (NCAA Football 11 Designer) back again and as promised, here is part 2 of the Dynasty Blogs for NCAA Football 11; you can check out the first one about our new Phone Call here. But before we get into the details of the second blog, I'd like to mention one more thing about the New Phone Call that can help you in a call. We were going to reveal this later but there have been a lot of good discussions at various community sites and we want to ensure everyone has all the new information for our new Phone Calls.

During a call, when you are between topics, there is a chance you can earn what we call a Coaches Choice. This gives you the option to select the next topic and leverage your program's strengths.

The only catch is, you don't have control about when it appears. For smaller schools, this and the ability to change topics can be life savers during a call. As you really dive into the new Phone Call, you'll be able to see how all these elements tie together and make you think a little about how you'll react. Now let's get on with the rest of the blog...

The newest NCAA Football 11 blog details the changes to the phone call aspect of Recruiting in Dynasty mode:

Hey NCAA Fans! Russ here and I'm back to discuss a crowd favorite. We are now less than two months away from the July 13th release of NCAA Football 11. Personally, I'm very excited about all the details we already talked about with game play and presentation. The game is looking really good right now and the team is working hard to finish in these last couple months.

One of the most asked questions at every event, forum, and live chat we've done so far this year is "What is new with Dynasty?" Well I'm happy to finally be able to answer that question and provide you with a lot of the details in Dynasty Mode. But with all the enhancements this year, Dynasty will be broken down into 3 different blogs; this is the first about the new Phone Call in NCAA Football 11.
