On Wednesday, EA SPORTS released a Sights & Sounds Deep Dive video & blog for their upcoming College Football 25.

The video, narrated by Kirk Herbstreit, highlights many of the school specific aspects in the title and the work that went into their inclusion.

No date was given, but it was stated that the next Deep Dive reveal will cover Dynasty Mode.

Rankings Week is underway for EA SPORTS College Football 25, kicking off with the Toughest Places to Play (TPTP). From the blog: "The Development Team worked to compile a list of the Top 25 Toughest Places to Play, factoring in historical stats such as home winning %, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, team prestige, and more."

The top five Toughest Places to Play are: 1. Texas A&M, 2. Alabama, 3. LSU, 4. Ohio State, and 5. Georgia.

GameStop has announced that they will be the exclusive home for the EA SPORTS College Football 25 Homecoming Pack. This pack features physical items including an EA SPORTS College Football 25 Branded Locker Replica, an EA SPORTS College Football 25 Replica Athletic Jersey, an EA SPORTS College Football 25 Branded Official Football, and a copy of the game.

Here is where it gets confusing and has led to community questions: While you can get any version of the game (Standard, Deluxe, MVP) with the Homecoming Pack, not every version has a physical copy. (Only the Standard Edition can be purchased physically.) For example, the Deluxe and MVP Editions are digital only, so those corresponding bundles include PSN cards to cover that cost for PlayStation users while (it appears) Xbox users will get a digital code to download that game version.

EA SPORTS has released a trailer and blog as part of the Gameplay Deep Dive for EA SPORTS College Football 25.

Narrated by Kirk Herbstreit, the nearly five minute video gives users a look at some of the gameplay features coming to the title. Extensive details were then published in a blog on the EA CFB 25 website.

The blog, written by Creative Director Scott O'Gallagher, goes significantly in-depth in describing the bevy of gameplay features found in the title, including; Wear & Tear, the option game, Read & Pitch Key AI logic, (disguising) coverage shells, Abilities, Pre Snap Recognition, Confidence and Composure, Coach Vision, Homefield Advantage, Pre-Play Controls, Custom Stems, Revamped Passing, the Switch Stick, playbooks, and team play styles, game tempo options, Real Time Coaching (RTC), offensive/defensive line play features, weather impacts, new kicking meter, player controlled celebrations, the new 'Victory Formation' feature, and more.

Media and content creators were given the greenlight from EA SPORTS today to share their thoughts and impressions after playing EA SPORTS College Football 25 at an event held last week in Orlando.

Over 20 attendees shared a combinations of articles, podcasts, tweets, and videos giving fans some of the first gameplay and feature details.

EA SPORTS has posted the official reveal trailer for EA SPORTS College Football 25 as well as a look at the feature set for the title.

Among the highlights:
- Marching bands, turnover belts/hoops, a bevy of player equipment options, and numerous team entrances highlighted in the trailer.
- TeamBuilder returns, but content can only be used in offline Play Now and private Dynasty modes.
- Cross-play is in the title for the following modes: Road to the College Football Playoff, College Football Ultimate Team™, and Play a Friend.
- No mention of Custom Conferences at this time.

Thursday, EA SPORTS officially revealed the covers for EA SPORTS College Football 25 and pre-order bonuses for each version.

The standard edition of the game ($69.99) will launch on July 19, while those who purchase the Deluxe Edition ($99.99) or MVP Bundle ($149.99) can begin playing on July 16. The official game reveal for EA CFB 25 will be on Friday, May 17.

Wednesday morning, Twitter user @MutLeaksXXV posted what is purportedly the standard edition cover artwork for EA SPORTS College Football 25. That image has since been removed in response from a report by the copyright holder.

Tuesday, a French website provided a text description of the standard edition cover that proved accurate. That article is reporting that there will be no PC version and also gives the measurements and weight of the Collector's Edition, believed to be the "Homecoming Edition." Could the measurements be implying a physical item as part of that edition?

The official cover reveal will be on Thursday morning (5/16) at 11 AM ET. ...

Friday morning, the PlayStation Store listing for EA SPORTS College Football revealed the artwork for the Deluxe Edition of the title as well as a screenshot of Notre Dame taking the field.

Front and center in the graphic are Texas QB Quin Ewers, Michigan RB Donovan Edwards, and Colorado WR/DB Travis Hunter. In front of them are Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, Georgia QB Carson Beck, and Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins.

Following this leak, EA announced they will be officially revealing "both" covers Thursday, May 16 at 11 AM ET. A countdown is available on the EA website, though it has changed text from "news coming soon" to "official cover reveal [on] May 16." ...
