- Game will ship with standard "WR #80" player names.
- EA Locker will return.
- Additional editable coach fields: W-L, years coached, bowl record, award winners coached, etc.
- No new names added to player name database.
- Two branching storylines as game develops: Drive Summary & Key Player Story.
- Dynamic Impact Players will help change initially highlighted player each game during the season.
- Licensing for former college players only applies for use in NCAA Football Ultimate Team.
- Demo development cut off several weeks before game went final. Numerous bugs in the demo were addressed by retail. Also working on post-release support for additional issues.
- CPU run game improved, especially on Heisman the computer will be able to run successfully against users.
- Stiff Arm: Does not feel users have utilized enough in demo due to lack of comments on improved stiff arm so far.
- Pre-game Show & Halftime Show: To get demo under file size limits, some presentation aspects were removed including key player pre-game focus and halftime show. Demo size limit is 2 GB, NCAA 14 demo is 1.89 GB.
- A lot of chemistry between Rece Davis & David Pollack in recording commentary. Exciting for people to hear halftime show in retail.
- NCAA Football Ultimate Team: Players such as Russell Shepard may be in the mode and at several positions, matching what they played in college.
- NFUT: Former players - Still in process of signing players. Former Nebraska QB Tommie Frazier on the list of players they hope to sign and add. With a majority of the mode being server-based, more players can be added throughout the year. Some that they have signed/added may be "pretty surprising."
- Low stamina will increase chance of fumble or injury by the ballcarrier. Special moves & big hits will also decrease stamina significantly. Jukes will be slower, spin moves will become sloppy as the player is more fatigued.
- Users will be able to export NCAA Football 14 draft classes to Madden NFL 25.
