Actually, they are.

You have one chance to get it right to "fix" the outcome. It would be foolish to believe that you could pull it off every time.

Furthermore, the Seattle/Green Bay example is evidence AGAINST things being fixed. It was not in the NFL's best interest to have the replacement officials screw up which forced them to bring the regular officials back.

That said, except for some thread-crapping, I'm not going to talk about this dumb shit any more. Doing so gives this lonely, old mama's boy just what he wants - attention. He can get that from mama's teat.

No one practices that with the other team, dude and even on the rate opportunity that it works, it NEVER works how it does in practice.

you don't need to practice it with (the other team) you just need to have practiced the action and understand the objective.
If its meant to be a catch for the offense , the defense understands to keep their hands open and volley the ball. Its incredibly that simple.

succeed ? the success depends on whether they wanted the play to lead to a touchdown or not.

you are of course aware how sticky those gloves are now. Its easy to purposely miss a catch and still slow the ball down with those gloves. You should be twice as suspicious about the fact that these guys practice catching hundreds of time a week with these gloves and can catch one handers like its so easy and yet in a game they'll put both hands up and let the ball hit them while making no effort to grab the ball.

SD vs Arizona- of course you can bypass the catching when you tell the QB to throw at his receivers feet two times in a row in the most crucial of situations LOL....oh and SD still covered too

but the following week SD does all the right things and the so called great Sherman acts like peewee Herman all over the field LOL

yes, and lemming sports fan chants-its the breaks of the game dude-they didn't prepare well that week- it wasn't in the gameplan- Rivers is better than you realized- it was the heat LOL bla bla bla football pseudo intellectual cliche gibberish with no basis in any form of fact.

But the theory that the NFL being a well rehearsed sports drama is based on facts, right? Even though there is absolutely no proof to that theory or that Goodell has a master script in his office.

I'm actually giving scenarios and explaining them. I've approached everything on quite the intellectual level.

Pointless ? I've brought up many points you refuse to comprehend.

as the season goes along I expect you to start actually noticing things.

Smooth- were you on the edge of your seat last Sunday? LOL

I sat there laughing during KCs last drive knowing full well, no matter what the ball or players did that KC wasn't winning.

but they have to create drama...and KC still covers even though they were made to look like inept idiots the week before.

I'v given you plenty of facts. Facts just need to make logical sense, which mine do. I don't need a legal entity to affirm my intelligence. My proof is the examples I have given.

Goodell? He's just middle management, the Owners run it all.

the Jet fan who sued the league over Patriot-gate.
the legal system basically said the fact is even if the NFL manipulated its games that there was nothing the fan could do about it in a court of law. All they can do is not like it if they choose to or not buy tickets or merch or what ever.

That's the great thing about being on his side of the fence. If a pass is caught, it was fake and scripted. If a pass is incomplete, it's fake and scripted. As long as he has the ability to call the fakes after they happen, he's always able to claim he's right.

Yep, just like earlier with the Hail Mary discussion. Well clearly if it was caught, it was scripted that way. Clearly if it was dropped, it's because it was scripted that way. :D The stupidity is utterly fucking mind numbing.

Fine, time to put this thread to bed. No more "reasonings", no more "facts", no more "watch the video, study the video". Ram, you claim the NFL is scripted. You claim every game is scripted, every play is scripted. Fine, show me the script. All of those plays, all of those games, all of those seasons, there has to be a script that got away from the NFL's control and got out into the wild somehow. Just look at how many WWE scripts have appeared online over the years. So fine, you want me to believe all this cockamamie bullshit, show me the script. Where's the script Ram? Just show me the script, it's that simple.

Hell, if WWE scripts get leaked out on the internet, when they only do two shows a week, 52 weeks a year, then clearly the NFL will have had scripts leaked out with 12-16 games a week for 17 weeks (plus the postseason). So all you have to do is provide us the scripts. I look forward to you posting them for all of us to see. :)

you are just babbling at this point. I have told you how its easy to fake missing a pass. I haven't told when and how and the outcomes it would lead to. You simply just buy the constant fantastic finishes as natural occurrences which is more absurd than anything I have logically explained in thorough, elaborate fashion.

It's the same with any conspiracy theory. The claims always come out "after" the fact. The Boston bombings, after it happened you had thousands of pictures of government agents "planting" things. After 911 it was Bush and yada, yada. But none of these theorists have anything to say before anything happens. You can do it with anything.

Personally I think this whole discussion is scripted and I'm just now realizing it. Normally at this time of year this site is flooded with viewers and people talking about NCAA and looking for Big Perm's rosters. Since there is no game this year the traffic has been slow on the site so this is a ploy the Big 3 game up with to drive traffic. Ram mysteriously takes a 4 month hiatus from the site but comes back and is posting this ridiculousness and posting like 20 times a day? Something smells fishy. Everyone has had a run in with Ram but this topic has multiple people arguing with him, that's mathematically impossible for him to piss off that many people when he's only ever pissed off maybe two at a time.

Just look at the results, this thread is at what 12 pages in a matter of a week? There's no way that's possible. I think Ram is being paid off to spew this nonsense. I also think Smooth and :sf: are in on it. They have to be. There's is noway that seasoned message board veterans like them would continue to post in here and antagonize a troll. The just keep baiting him enough and then also keep baiting Bill and myself to keep us posting.

I've run the statistics and they are posting everytime there hasn't been a post in this thread for longer than 3 hours. There's just noway that is a coincidence. They post that often to keep the thread in our feeds so we continue to see it and Rams nonsense so we are inclined to respond.

Damnit Bill, we are smarter than this. How did we miss it? Doughty figured it out early, probably got paid off to keep his mouth shut and used the excuse of not liking :Sf: comments about deadbeats to get out. Mors knew too early on, why he didn't tip is off I'll never figure out.

Well I will say this, well done sirs, well done. You got your post counts back up now let's get back to meaningful conversations.

Good job, Eric. You got us.

The only flaws in your hypothesis are:

A) ram is NOT being paid. He lives in mom's trailer for free and she gives him an allowance to buy his toys. He doesn't need TGT money, he's just really, really mentally challenged (delusional).

B) The other guy left because of me and me alone. Someone in the "Inner Circle" once told me, "he can dish it, but he can't take it." They were right and I'm proud to have provided this service to my brothers at TGT.

LOL at Smooth and his childish rant for a script. If a multibillion company is hiding something, what makes you think your dumb ass would find it on the internet easily. Aside from that my child, when I say scripting that doesn't need to mean theres a physical piece of paper. It just means something is premeditated and planned.

the QB and the Linebacker have audio, every coach and a few others all have headsets all around the stadium. To speed things up the officials have them now too. Who's hooked up to who ? are they all on the same channel ? If they've been doing this since the 60s (yes, I'm aware they didn't have all that audio back then LOL) which Peter Gent obviously implies that they have, What do you think an entire week of practice is for ?

you basically sound like someone with no more than a 5th grade education. You are admitting you are too scared to challenge what you actually watch every week. You just watch the ball fly around and think something really exciting is happening.

the communication devices are used to manipulate the games, so are the week of practice. That's how the game is scripted/manipulated.

and the fielder flopping and missing the ball aaand the catcher botching the in coming throw...and and it just happens to be a game winning hit on his last at bat at home.

sports fans are so damn dumb and believe all the perfect endings keep happening. If he likes that pitch historically, what makes you think they cant premeditate pitching it to him ? if the pitcher is supposed to know that, why would he give him exactly what he's good at ? seriously , you guys have no deductive reasoning skills or practical logic. The sports world can do what ever it wants and you have proven to them that you are dumb enough to buy anything.

now.. again..lets see if something clicks in your heads yet.

the Buffalo Bills went to 4 super bowls in a row and lost 4 in a row.

are you so dumb that you don't understand that everything, absolutely everything, has to work in their favor to get there 4 years in a row let alone one year. And everything has to work perfectly against them 4 years in a row for them to lose 4 years in a row.

absolutely none of that happens without manipulation. No universe is that perfect for any of that to happen that often. It defeats all science and math logic no matter how you try to bend it. It is nothing more than a lie. No humans life is that lucky.

every other team in the AFC has to win and lose in a manor that would benefit Buffalo in some way down the line...4 years in a row..4 years in a row. Grow the hell up and start thinking like adults.

actually start watching games.rewind big plays and see the defenders doing nothing but reaching with their arms and falling down and taking bad angles and slowing down. Its so damn simple.

I wouldn't be this adamant if I didn't already know I was right. I have given you the ultimate cheat sheet and yet you are so misguided it doesn't sink in.

ram29jackson1- I'm basing my picks on what I think the NFL Is trying to sell in story lines, injury reports and where they are trying to lead the public to bet. Its working pretty well so far. I could 1-15 though, it really doesn't matter. I already know games are scripted no matter who I think is winning.

of course all these stupid outcomes have lead to next week where every team looks even. Its probably best just to pick the underdog next week in all but 2 games.

I'm not. I'm saying Jeter is particularly good at hitting that pitch.

Only someone predisposed to conspiracy theories (ram) would take that as meaning someone fixed something.

What it means is that the pitcher knew that and threw him "that" pitch that he can hit :easy:

ram29jackson1- I'm basing my picks on what I think the NFL Is trying to sell in story lines, injury reports and where they are trying to lead the public to bet. Its working pretty well so far. I could 1-15 though, it really doesn't matter. I already know games are scripted no matter who I think is winning.

of course all these stupid outcomes have lead to next week where every team looks even. Its probably best just to pick the underdog next week in all but 2 games.

and the fielder flopping and missing the ball aaand the catcher botching the in coming throw...and and it just happens to be a game winning hit on his last at bat at home.

sports fans are so damn dumb and believe all the perfect endings keep happening.

Fascinating how you are so ignorant that the Moss video completely escapes your senses.
you can scream and cry your childish drunken insults all you want but I know I am absolutely correct and that will never change. You will discover I am right and you will all be very sorry.

good night childish one's ,enjoy tomorrow

Well, this thread has replaced my quest for funny gifs. Ram, please enlighten me as to exactly what "practical logic" is??? I only have a Masters in philosophy and most of that was in epistemology and ethics with some study of metaphysics (reality). BTW what I think you are doing is called inductive reasoning and not deductive
As to mathematical logic, I think both Hilbert and Godel would find your argument poor no matter what they would think of fixing sports leagues.

My degree in philosophy only teaches me about proper reasoning. Is it possible the NFL is fixed? Yes, sure. Is it even close to probable? No, given human nature alone, but let's look at how random events are on the field (yes I played) as far as coaching, talent, preparation, weather.........you could go on........
What if Dwight Clark drops that pass, same for Franco Harris.
Even with all of this I believe and am in my epistemic rights to claim I know with reasonable certainty it is not fixed (I stopped watching years ago BTW) for two simple reasons. If it is all scripted why allow a players union and free agency. Get drafted and go play your part.

I do wonder how long all the wife/girlfriend/child beaters will keep their mouths shut :fp:

actors have unions too. players keep their mouths shut because they are usually illiterate athletes who cant fight back and only play a couple years. Yes, players have written books about it but obviously the masses would rather lie to themselves. But you are assuming that something is really wrong. Nothing wrong is happening. Really athletic guys are putting on shows and getting paid for it. The smart ones continue to stay employed after their playing careers end.
I have in fact posted a video of Moss helping a DB and it continues to be ignored.

LOL at it not being close to probable. Its been going on since the 60s as far as being orchestrated. Before that there was just a lot of shady goings on. Now everyone gets paid to do the same thing.
I've already given countless logical scenarios but the common man has trouble with practical reality and wants to believe the fantastic always happens.

the season is a script as much as a solo game. the blowouts were by the wrong team by most assumptions. The point of those games is so the following weeks they can go the opposite way when you think it was supposed to prove a trend and you buy the parity /every team can win on any day crap and the betting trends swing and sway.
For a guy that thinks he knows betting and odds you aren't very bright. I was wrong about the KC game but I did pick NY and SF to win while most went the other way because they think they had logical football reasons why. I also picked the Cowboys to win their game. Never pick against the cowboys in a primetime game LOL.

the riots in Missouri happen and the A's start tanking well enough that the surprising Royals get the home field for that one playoff game that went into glorious extra inning of ad revenue. Where only the night before , the Chiefs had a point explosion against the Patriots.

ok its not Katrina-esque but still quite fishy. Bread and Circus's people, Bread and Circus's.

the Cardinals, Royals and Chiefs all have a fantastic week to distract the masses from their pain with teams that are hardly ever successful except for the Cards here and there.
But oh, look, the major Markets of LA, SF, Washington and Baltimore are all well represented still.

You'd think that the league would be smart enough to script close games on THEIR OWN FLAGSHIP NETWORK particularly early in the season when the games are also shown on CBS.

I probably did vote yes. The stuff I've been posting has been about being a smart ass and making jokes about it.

Some stuff does seem awful weird to be coincidental...in most major sports...Just finding out about steroids in Baseball was like a national secret as if people didn't know about it

Players being paid off to shave points. Who knows if it still happens..but it did at one point.

Referee's saying they made calls for gambling purposes?

At any rate in all honestly I don't believe the NFL is staged or rigged, just some odd random occurrences..which pretty sure I stated that already.

Refs also don't help. There are blown calls, then there are these

teams get blown out by others who got blown out the week before and you buy this bull----?
8 games this week end with teams losing by 7 points or less and you just want to believe its natural ?

yes, I can make both statements without one canceling the other out. The point is the unlikely and unrealistic keep happening so you think its normal and commonplace.

LOL the only thing I've had is upset people call me names with no proof it isn't fixed.

the only thing you did was set up a guy by asking "is it fixed?" so he could readily deny. all he said to you was -guys get injured so it cant be fake and I'm stupid-. That doesn't disprove a fucking thing. It just means you don't know how to process actual information.
Of course the guy will deny if he doesn't know your bend or why your asking. He wants to make sure he can go back.
that said, you are either ignorant or lying too because big time college ball has been just as corrupt for years.

you went to college and you think that you disputed anything I said ? Please dude that doesn't fly one damn bit.

isn't it interesting that KC and St Louis make it to another round of the playoffs 1 month after the riots...

the Rams don't have a damn QB and yet still score 3 times in the last 10 minutes of a game to cover the spread ? really ? how gullible are you dweebs ,man ?

I told you the Cards weren't making the post season and they have 6 or 7 players dropping like flies now.

:D If we stop thinking with our frontal lobes, society would go up shit creek without a paddle. You are trying to delve into how thinking with the left or right side of the brain works, neither of which would lead a normal human brain to think the NFL is fixed. The confusion is understandable. You are the psychopath, the guy in the chair talking to you is the psychologist. He deals with the brain, you deal with finding jars to put brains in.

no, you don't know, You just claim. I have given examples. You have stamped your feet and said "no."

or you are simply lying. I know I have seen the same dynamic in college games that I've seen in the pro's.

it was obvious USC Trojan defenders just let the receiver catch the hail mary unguarded.
It was obvious the Oregon Ducks just laid down and let Arizona score and just gave them the ball at the end.

the last play of the Stanford/USC game was a complete joke if that was real football LOL

The teams ranked Nos. 1, 3, 4, 7 and 9 in the Amway Coaches Poll went down. Exactly half of the coaches' top 20 lost.

It began Thursday, when Arizona upset No. 4 Oregon 31-24. Saturday, No. 14 Mississippi State beat No. 7 Texas A&M 48-31. Those Bulldog fans cheered, sort of, as their archrival, the No. 11 Rebels, beat the No. 1 Tide. Just a few moments later, No. 25 TCU upended No. 3 Oklahoma, 37-33.

all the top ranked teams lose the same week and you think its just natural occurrence ? the football karma gods just had a fun day ?

I said the Arizona Cardinals would tank before the season started and behold= 6 or 7 guys are injured before they host a super bowl.

before the year started I said NY would have a great year and that is happening.

Summons the inner Ram. Do not try this at home.

The NFL is forcing the Browns to keep Johnny on the bench. He is a loose cannon and they are setting him straight, getting him in line. You see that Snicker commercial? The NFL was behind Johnny playing an aerobics instructor. They will get Johnny on board and on the same page of the script. Only then will he get to start. Watch the commercial. I mean really watch it. Replay it and look closely at the sadness on his face and the humiliation. Replay it you bunch of brainless moronic sheep. Stop thinking with the front part of the brain. Start thinking with the power of Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard, using only your Medulla Oblongata.

Like I said, start watching defensive players more often. Youll see them do pretty much nothing in most cases on big plays..or if they are near a ball carrier they apply no pressure or grasp.

I never said I could predict outcomes. But my over all picks are better then they were when I thought it wasn't manipulated.

Miami- GB
the Miami players just completely laid down on the last drive. That fake spike throw was so lame and slow and you were supposed to believe Miami was baffled LOL
and yet Miami still covered. another fantastic finish game !

the NFL is trying to dumb you down so much now that you believe any outcome no matter how unlikely or absurd.

it wasn't a spontaneous remark by Al Michaels last night when he said -paraphrased- " you really have no idea what will happen week to week"

"parity" and "any team can win any Sunday" are lies with no true fact based logic behind them. Just football cliché's so you believe what ever they sell you.

in all my pools yesterday I was basically the only guy to pick Dallas to win outright as well as cover.
call it luck if you want but the fact is I was still right while everyone else was wrong.

I got 11 right straight up yesterday and 9 right against the spread.
that's impressive no matter how the children here try to downgrade it.

players enjoy attention and acting it up. They are fully aware cameras are on them.

why would you put a sharpie in your sock or a cell phone in the goal post unless you were absolutely damn sure you would score a TD.

plus, wouldn't it be kind of dangerous in what is supposed to be a hard hitting sport to put a pen next to your calf with no clue whether you scored or not for how ever long during a game ?

Yet the League has strict rules against that bullshit now which would make players lives sad and make them more likely to spill the beans when they retire, get cut, get injured, etc.

Also, how do you know that TO didn't have that Sharpie in his sock in other games but we didn't know it because he didn't score? Wait. I know the answer: because you only look at the socks.

When I put together a top 5 power poll, this definitely wouldn't be how I pictured it at the start of the season.

1. Dallas
2. San Diego
3. Philadelphia
4. Arizona
5. Indy / Seattle

That's fucked up because this guy I know has the NFL script and he said that the Cardinals would be terrible this year (and some preseason injuries confirmed that notion for him) because they are hosting the Super Bowl. He says the NFL won't let you host a Super Bowl and play in it.

Of course, he also says he likes "Hanes my way". Hanes being the socks and by his way, I think he means masturbating furiously into them.
since when are playoffs after 6 games ? I said the Cards would sink and they will sink, even if its a pleasant 8-8 sink. So will Seattle.
Preseason injuries ? they are up to 6 or 7 now but of course I was aware when the ball started rolling down hill.

Is it the guy who said that this is the year of the Broncos? He said Manning is riding off into the sunset with a storybook ending according to the script.

Last I checked, that's still in the process of happening.

...and yet you don't think about or question the fact that the Jets and Redskins have their games covered but both conveniently throw Ints at end of their games that the Broncos and Cards score on.

Broncos and Cards had their games won . All the defenders had to do was fall down..but they run to the end zones untouched.
and the Jets and Redskins don't cover on convenient basically last plays of games.
but this of course is all just coincidental to you. Along with that happening a 3rd time in the 49ers- Rams game.

3 times, same week. How naïve are you people?

the Niners already have a 10 point lead with over 5 minutes to go I believe and right at the rams goal line on 4th they try to go for it instead of a field goal ? really ?
are they teasing the point spread ? the over/under ? what the hell was that for ?

the Packers comeback...the Miami players just laid down ,plain and simple. Just laid the heck down.
and yet Miami still covers.

you people believe anything and everything without thinking for yourselves.

This proves NOTHING.

LOL the league has done that for years. They do something and then say they now have a rule for it after the fact. Yes, after they got the desired effect from it to get ratings.

the Niners already have a 10 point lead with over 5 minutes to go I believe and right at the rams goal line on 4th they try to go for it instead of a field goal ? really ?
are they teasing the point spread ? the over/under ? what the hell was that for ?

I don't even have to be a NFL coach to realize and understand the strategy of a play call like that. If you can't understand it, you really are a clueless troll.

You realize that for every winner there is a loser, right? INTs for TDs late in a game doesn't prove anything. People bet on both sides, particularly at -110 which is standard juice on an ATS wager.

Also, Vegas LOST money in 2 of the last few Super Bowls. If the league was scripted for Books, the Books would NEVER lose no matter how late the money came in.

Your "logical brain" has to understand ALL of the facts (and be capable of processing it) in order to work properly.

Repeatedly saying that "I know it's true" doesn't make it true. Like the people of Germany believed the repeated propaganda of Goebbels, you swallow what some hack on a website keeps feeding you. You are a fool.

One day an NFL team will play a Super Bowl in their home stadium. When they do, you tin foil dumbasses will make an excuse for that too. The UEFA Champions League Final - THE MOST WATCHED ANNUAL SPORTING EVENT IN THE WORLD - had a club play at home (Bayern Munich) in 2012. One day, the NFL will too and you people will forget, conveniently, that you used to beat the drum that it was a sign that the league is fixed and move on to something else like how only one team ever went unbeaten and untied or how it is "mathematically impossible" for a running back to steal underwear from Dillard's.

No.

I am thinking for myself. My brain, which works well enough to use proper grammar and punctuation as well as keep me gainfully employed, tells me you are an idiot.

How is repeating everything that you read on 'The Fix Is In', or whatever, thinking for yourself? Some of that shit like "they're hiding stuff in camera angles and won't let you see the all-22 angle" is old and has long been discredited yet YOU are too dumb to know that and still post it like it's relevant.

You aredoing whatyou havedone your entire life. You find someone that "thinks" differently than what is the societal norm and you buy their bullshit just to have something to be a part of and somewhere to belong.

aside from the violent point swing comeback by the colts, Another fan commented about "why did the KC players keep running out of bounds?"

I have to comment here as all I needed to see was the Vegas line go from Indy -1 to KC -3 and end up KC -2 in about a 12 hour period.I told friends at a party I was at during halftime,"IF Indy wins this game by 1 I am done watching this sport as anything but pure entertainment and a chance to win a few bucks."

lots a gif magic here but nothing that proves that I could possibly be wrong.

theres even a whole fan base that doesn't even care about game outcomes or how teams do. All they want is fantasy players they picked to get stats. Fantasy football has developed a whole new gambling culture as well.

people are watching redzone and don't even see everything no matter how absurd it was that got the team to the redzone.

the death of common sense and deductive reasoning skills is rampant in society as exemplified by some of you.

you buy any outcome no matter how absurd or unlikely and question nothing.
For shame,for shame.

Well, St. Louis got eliminated by San Francisco. I guess those "protestors" in Ferguson, Missouri didn't deserve having St. Louis make the World Series in the eyes of the almighty script writer. I guess sockboy better start thinking up some new bullshit excuse.

And with all these claims of "hey, look at how Kansas City just turned around after the riots", I'm guessing sockboy hasn't looked at a map recently. Kansas City and Ferguson are nowhere near each other. I doubt the people of Ferguson even give a fuck about Kansas City, most of them are probably St. Louis fans, Ferguson being a suburb of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area and all. Christ, I live 25 miles closer to Chicago (living in NW Ohio) than Kansas City is to Ferguson, Missouri.

http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/10/17/emugapyz.jpg

So for a team that has been to the NLCS for four straight years, great set up by that script writer to have St. Louis make the NLCS three straight years then set up this whole white cop shooting a black guy thing so St. Louis making the NLCS a fourth straight year would make for great storylines. Too bad that dumbass fucked up the script and had St. Louis get their asses handed to them by San Francisco. Not having St. Louis win the World Series really ruined that beautiful storybook ending script.

So I guess if having Kansas City, a city that is 240 miles away from Ferguson (an entire state between the two) make the playoffs and sweep their way to the World Series was some magical scripted event due to the riots back in August, I guess that means Missouri and Illinois will be playing in the college football national title game. And that must mean the Cubs and White Sox should have both made the ALCS and NLCS instead of the Orioles and Giants. And that must mean it'll be the Rams facing the Bears in the NFC title game while Kansas City will play either Indianapolis or Tennessee in the AFC title game. I mean, hey, all of those teams are within a state or two of Ferguson, Missouri. Close enough! Right?

because they helped KC win during the last month after the riots happened and the A's lose so the one game playoff with extra innings was home in KC. The same week the Chiefs blowout the Pats the night before. Sedate the Masses.

but notice all the major market teams that still made the playoffs. The Cards didn't go all the way but still made it to the last round = purpose served. a small market team is in while serving the purpose of sedating a community. The rest of the country that doesn't care still gets a major market popular team in the Series.

its fascinating that it has to be really childish and obvious for you to think its manipulated.
Yet even when it is you still cant figure it out.

Archie Manning is on the selection committee and the ncaa has a week 6 where all the top schools fall yet both Mississippi schools, Ol' Miss and Mississippi State are undefeated and ranked 1 and 3. These schools haven't been that relevant since the 60s or there abouts but now all the sudden they are relevant at the same time ?

I'm glad Arkansas State could play it's role in Hugh Freeze's rise to Ole Miss which was obviously scripted...

In 2010, a perennial 6 win coach (Steve Roberts) hires a recently fired OC from Memphis (Clay Helton). Weeks later, Helton is hired away to USC to join Lane Kiffin's staff at USC so Arkansas State turns to their second choice, Hugh Freeze, who just had been hired at San Jose State. Freeze was home sick in California so he jumped at the opportunity to return to the midsouth.

After another poor year (4-8), Roberts is fired and fan outcry forces the AD to hire Freeze as the full time head coach. In his first (and only) year as HC at Arkansas State, Freeze goes 10-2 during the regular season while Houston Nutt drives yet another team into the ground going 2-10 at Ole Miss. Nutt is fired and after much debate, Freeze is hired at Ole Miss.

In his first two years, Freeze shows promise going 7-6 and 8-5 respectively before ultimately being able to build his team into the 6-0 #3 team in the nation.

All of that was orchestrated because Archie Manning was going to be on the selection committee? I realize Jimmy Sexton is very manipulative... but do you really think he coordinated all of that to happen 4 years in advance just so that Ole Miss could be ranked at the same time that Archie Manning is on the selection committee?

Yep! :D Being in the same state doesn't mean jack squat. Ferguson is a part of the St. Louis metro. I'm betting an overwhelming majority would root for the Cardinals in baseball and the Rams in football. The Royals and Chiefs doing good or having big wins isn't going to do crap to "sedate the masses" when the overwhelming majority of those masses probably don't even care for the Royals or Chiefs. They aren't going to give a crap how good either team does. But apparently that doesn't matter, all that matters is that they are in the same state. #ramlogic

You are a fucking mental midget. If they wanted it to end with FSU winning, all they had to do was tell Golson to throw it too high or tell Robinson to drop it or tell Golson to take a sack or 1000 other things. But, no. They tell a kid to run an illegal pick. Sure.

Marshawn Lynch went to Cal for crying out loud. Freaking CAL ? He had no business being there.

I'm with E, keep this sucker open, love it!!!

Ad hoc hypothesis[edit]

In science and philosophy, ad hoc means the addition of extraneous hypothesis to a theory to save it from being falsified. Ad hoc hypotheses compensate for anomalies not anticipated by the theory in its unmodified form. Scientists are often skeptical of theories that rely on frequent, unsupported adjustments to sustain them. Ad hoc hypotheses are often characteristic of pseudoscientific subjects such as homeopathy as well as the NFL (and now all sports it seems) being fixed conspiracies.[1]

If the offense doesn't score on every play it is because they aren't trying. If the offense does score on every play it is because the defense isn't trying. If there is a penalty it is because the penalized team tried when they weren't supposed to try.

I don't know why your logical brain is too dumb to understand that formula, SC.

Rams with a fake punt!!!!! What a gutsy call, 4th down, deep in Saint Louis territory, with under 3 minutes to go!

Rams hold on to win by 2 over Seattle!

And I'm sure ram will have plenty to say about this game.

of course I do. You are so gullible that all this fantastic ,perfect drama is normal and average to you.
and of course a fumble you see no one recover isn't reviewable so the outcome stays as planned.

5 games end in 2 or 1 point difference and you just drool and believe it all.

They only won to prevent rioting in Chillicothe, MO.

no, they won to help Seattle slide which already stated would happen long before this. I just figured they would wait till after this game. I did pick Seattle to win but I did pick the Rams to cover.
You people cant think for yourselves and buy any outcome no matter what happens.

Archie Manning wrote that script. He is also writing the script on the Ole Miss season. Apparently he is getting carte blanche for all those seasons he had to "intentionally fail" while "playing" for the Saints.

Interesting, Ram ignores discussing Marshawn Lynch further. Leaving that discussion for your friends at Stormfront?

they've practiced this stuff hundreds of times for years. These are jocks who do athletic things. Those gloves are sticky as heck. They mess up a couple times and a penalty is called and the ball moves forward and they can try for another sexy pass. Are you seriously that one dimensional and simplistic in your thought process ?

No wonder Ram doesn't work and instead sits at home with mother all day. He has no time, what with all the time he spends posting on various message boards for the Chiefs, the Packers, the Bengals, the 49ers, the Bears, the Rams, the Redskins, the Seahawks, the Broncos, the Giants, the Colts, the Eagles and that's just through page 5 on Google search results. I'm sure there are results of Ram getting universally mocked on message boards for every single NFL team.

At least that post might be his own original thought (probably not though). All the garbage he spits in this thread is just shit he gets from The Fix Is In or whatever.

He wants to spout that the rest of us are unable to think for ourselves and that we blindly believe everything we are told and then he logs on to conspiracy sites and IMMEDIATELY buys in. :fp:

false.
I have thought about it indirectly for 4 years and then I logically realized the Manning's and Buffalo can not happen without extreme manipulation. After that, everything else was easy to investigate.
unlike you I am in fact thinking for myself quite extensively. The majority of my examples are my research alone.Talking about the same topic as someone will naturally lead to similar viewpoints. But I suppose you already knew that, right?
If he has an example I agree with I will use it.
you insult like a child with no knowledge about anything you are talking about.

the Russell Wilson story is completely fake. Its just a made up story to make think you have a reason as to why Seattle is starting to slide down.

Smooth- the Chargers could beat Denver twice this season and it wont matter. Denver is winning the division no matter what.

:D And if they don't? And if the Broncos don't win the AFC? And if the Broncos don't win the Super Bowl? Oh, that's right, you'll just change your story again to make the results fit your tale and claim your nutjob theories as fact. That's all you've done. You claim this and that and when those claims don't pan out, well, you just modify your claims so you can still try and claim you are talking fact. As has already been stated, you're doing nothing but giving ad hoc hypotheses that you can quickly backtrack from and change your comments when your claims and theories don't pan out in the real world.

All these videos you supposedly claim are proof and fact of manipulation, are nothing but one man's opinion. You can not 100% undeniably prove for a guaranteed fact that what you claim you see in those videos are in fact real and true. They are nothing but your opinion. If your claims would be laughed at and instantly tossed out by the scientific community or by a judge in a courtroom, then they aren't fact here. They're you're opinion and nothing more.

So you made 3 BOLD predictions for the season that you claim will PROVE the league is fixed.

1. Denver will win the AFC.

2. Seattle will not repeat.

3. Arizona will not win the NFC.

Let's look at them one at a time.

Denver has the best roster in the league. Almost everyone has pegged them to win the AFC West and most think they will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and possibly win it. This is not a BOLD prediction. You are playing the same odds that everyone else is - that the best team will win.

Seattle not repeating is also not a BOLD prediction. No one has repeated in a decade with several defending champions missing the playoffs altogether. You say, on one hand, that what Buffalo did in the 90s is impossible and, on the other hand, you say that someone not repeating shows manipulation. YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

Arizona won't win the NFC? Really? To say that a team that has been to ONE Super Bowl in their history and who missed the Playoffs last season (Hell, was 2008 the last time they made the Playoffs?) won't make it is not a BOLD prediction. I actually hope they make it just to watch you change your story.

Bottom line, you have NOT made ANY BOLD predictions about the league.

Additionally, you said Johnny Football would come off the bench in Week 1 and salvage a win for Cleveland over Pittsburgh. Didn't happen. You said Bell and Blount would be suspended for that game and that would be the "excuse" for the Steelers losing. I told you that they would not be suspended until next year, in all likelihood. They weren't. You were flat wrong.

You pointed to an old article about the unavailability of the "All 22" camera angle as "proof" that the NFL is "hiding what happens off the screen" from us. I pointed out that that angle has been available on NFL.com for several years now. You hid from that and pretended you didn't read that you were called out as a complete moron on that one.

You also made the "bold" prediction that Manning would get the TD record in prime time. Oh, really? Do you realize that TV execs take that kind of stuff into consideration when they pick their games for prime time? That's why Denver had back-to-back prime time games. NBC was "betting" that he would do it last week, NFLN/CBS were "betting" he'd do it this week. It's not that tough to project what few weeks that a player may reach a milestone in and, if you're wrong you still get Denver vs San Francisco or Denver vs San Diego - two nice matchups for prime time.
