I am in the process of upgrading our connection though moving from DSL. We typically get 4 down, 1 up which was been perfectly fine honestly for the company. But we are adding an additional 500 plus users and new telephone system so the upgrade is definitely needed now.

Malware can be a major pain for anyone with a computer or mobile device, as it can lead to security risks like identity theft. But when a virus targets a nuclear facility, the stakes are much much higher. According to a report on security site F-Secure, Iran's nuclear energy group — called the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, or AEOI for short — is reaching out for help to rid its system of a malicious program that not only threatens the facility's daily operations, but also plays a 90s rock anthem on the infected computers.

An email to F-Secure — allegedly sent from an AEOI scientist — detailed the attack, noting that the malware has shut down some of the facility's automated processes. The rather vague wording of the email leaves a few unanswered questions as to just what parts of the AEOI are in danger, but one piece of information was very clear: The insidious software prompted several of the group's computers to begin playing the song "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC in the middle of the night, and at full volume.

This isn't the first time Iran has come under fire from cyber criminals, and it likely won't be the last. But the attackers' decision to play classic rock songs on infected computers is perhaps the most unorthodox way of alerting a nuclear facility that it has fallen victim to hackers.

Remember I was debating if I wanted to pick the NFL Network for an extra ten bucks a month? Well, my cable company made me an off I couldn't refuse. For a extra 15 bucks a month, we now get every channel Charter has to offer. Every movie channel such as HBO and Showtime, all the extra HD channels and every sports channel on their lineup. Not a bad deal when I was going to pay ten more dollars a month just to get the NFL Network and the Red Zone channel.

I wasted my 1000th post in the Mom of the Year thread. This is post 1001.

I want to thank all the people (including YOU) who made this possible. You know who you are, and without you, I may have only achieved 8 or 900 posts at this young age.

I want to thank my fellow TGT members for all of the banter we have shared. When the day comes that I no longer feel that I can post at the level I demand from myself and make that inevitable decision to call it quits, it is the comraderie of you all that I will miss most.

A special thanks goes out to the EA Sports NCAA staff for giving me something to occupy an otherwise monotonous existence and for accepting my ideas for what they are. I look forward to expressing my thoughts to you for NCAA 12 and beyond.

And not to be forgotten are the lurkers of TGT. You log on, but never sign in. However, I can feel your support and I know you go to war with me. You are the reason I get up every day and post small nuggets of wisdom to be ingested, digested and excreted by the NCAA community. Thank you for being the greatest lurkers on the 'net. Without you, I'm nothing. What is the point of posting if no one will read it?

Lastly, I want to thank the ownership of TGT. You gentlemen have made me feel welcome from day 1. You spotted potential the in me when I was posting on the minor league NCAA community circuit and made sure that I knew that you would give me a chance to flourish in your system. I am truly blessed to have the support of the greatest ownership group of all the NCAA Football Community Forums. Mr. cdj, Mr. JBHuskers, Mr. gschwendt...you 3 took me from toiling in the minors to enjoying the type of success that a young man from Parma, Ohio, who grew up in the suburbs of Houston playing 2 player games of Intellivision Baseball by himself, could only dream of. You are the catalyst of who I am today, and I am forever grateful.

Here's to many, many more poignant, thoughtful, literate posts and to a few mindless rants that the future holds for us all!

Why is it that every FPS degenerates into playing with a bunch of complete fuckin' morons against a team full of people that have a clue what to fuckin' do? Why is matchmaking THAT hard to figure out? It seems like it would be easy. 2-3 matches in, is the other team getting completely owned (besides me of course ;))? i had it one time where me and my dad went to a mariners game....we were in our car waiting in line to park at the kingdome parking lot. griffey must have been running late, cuz he comes zooming up and had to stop right next to us in his black mercedes, that was all tricked out. the windows of his car were almost pitch black, but we instantly knew it was him due to his backwards hat. :D

A 5-year-old boy learned the hard way that Columbus, Ohio, isn't the only place that hates Michigan -- apparently Oklahoma does too.

Young Cooper Barton wore his favorite Michigan shirt to Wilson Elementary in Oklahoma City and was told it violated the Oklahoma City Public Schools dress code and was asked to turn the shirt inside out. According to the dress code, students are only allowed to wear Oklahoma, Oklahoma State or apparel from another Oklahoma state school. Everything else is a violation (especially Texas).

"They should really worry about academics. It wasn't offensive. He's 5," Cooper's mother Shannon Barton told News9.com.

The dress code also prohibits professional apparel.

This isn't the first time a kindergartener has been asked to ignore their collegiate allegiance. In February, Emma Burton of Olathe, Kan., refused to color a University of Kansas Jayhawk because she and her parents were devout Kansas State fans.

According to the television station, the Oklahoma City Public Schools dress code was created in 2005 as part of a way to rid schools of gangs and gang apparel.

Obviously, it's a little ridiculous to think 5-year-old Cooper was trying to rep his gang colors. His parents are just big Michigan fans and so is he. Consequently, the school district will revisit the dress code policy.

Perhaps it will be overturned so Cooper can rock his shirt for the big game against "Ohio" (as Brady Hoke would say).

See, I wouldn't have had a problem if they had the rule banning all shirts with college logos or names on them. But the fact that you're allowed to wear shirts with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State or another college or university in the state of Oklahoma, but any other team from anywhere else, "fuck you, change your shirt", that's where my issue is. If you're going to be shirts from having certain college logos/names on them, you ban them all, none of this special exception bullshit for Oklahoma schools just because your school is in Oklahoma. Either everyone gets to wear a shirt for whatever college they want, or no one does.

Last night was ATROCIOUS! Defiance lost to Napoleon 57-28. It was 28-7 Napoleon at halftime. The shock stat of the night...Napoleon didn't even record a SINGLE FIRST DOWN until their first drive of the third quarter! :fp: I just looked at the official game stats. Defiance ended the game with 16 first downs, Napoleon with 8. Napoleon had the same number of first downs for the entire game as they did touchdowns scored.

Talk about rolling over and playing dead on defense. Napoleon scored on an 87 yard run, a 13 yard pass (after a blocked punt), a 57 yard pass, a 64 yard run, an 80 yard run, a 59 yard run, all of those one or two play drives. Napoleon as a team ended up with 483 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns. Their starting running back set a school record with 302 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns in the game ON JUST 8 CARRIES!

And I'm gonna have to sit in studio listening to 9 more games during the regular season of Defiance football. :smh: :( :fp:

I'm gonna be an alcoholic by the end of October at this rate.

Yeah, Friday night was horrible. 4 of Napoleon's touchdowns were one play drives, 5 of those touchdowns were on plays of 50+ yards (including two 80+ yard runs). Their quarterback completed 4 passes the entire game, with three of them for touchdowns. One of their receivers only caught two passes, both for touchdowns.

It was truly an ass whooping in every sense. And seeing as Defiance plays in the Western Buckeye League, with mostly teams of comparable skill to Napoleon, Defiance is in for a very long season. Right now, I'm expecting either an 0-10 or 1-9 season, with that one win coming against a league opponent who lost 56-0 Friday night.

Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Now a Google Search Engine Game

Maybe a new high-tech version of the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" drinking game will be born out of Google's work. I can envision a bunch of people sitting around a table with their cell phones or tablets at the ready, picking random celebrities and trying to guess the Bacon Number. Anyone who guessed wrong would have to take a drink.

I wouldn't be surprised if a group of tech-savvy friends have tried this already.

If anything, IMDB should get some extra web traffic since Google's "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" feature hotlinks the actor names and movies to Google search results, and IMDB comes up near the top on all the search results.
