As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

New Animations & Animation Fidelity

While NCAA Football has added numerous animations in recent years, the community has asked for more variety in addition to improved interaction with animations.

Areas of focus include:

Various running, throwing, and catch animations; perhaps based on Player Tendency
Realistic fumble animations (hand moving on ball falling out)
Cleaner animation transitions
Post-play movement: Remove players bumping into each other, varied & more realistic movement animations, more reactive to previous play, etc.
Reduction/elimination of animation clipping
Revamped passing mechanic & animations (Passing when being hit plus ball release)

Dynamic Player Performance

Based on Madden’s description, each and every player would have a genuine and noticeable gameplay style, resulting in more divergent AI and skill sets. Scramblers would no longer just stand in the pocket waiting for a receiver to get open as you continuously rush three and drop eight. Various defenders would no longer react to a pass in the same way. Quick/Aware DBs would seek every opportunity to cut in front of the receiver and pull down that big interception, while stud Linebackers would look to punish those receivers who dare run routes over the middle. Overall, across all positions, there are a total of 18 new traits that would be available to define each player's style of play. (This reference of DPP is different from the Dynasty Bracket entry as it refers to specifically one game at a time, while the other is across several games or an entire season.)

The key with animations, in my opinion, is more variety. It seems that every year we get a new set of animations, but they simply replace the cutscene/animation from the year before.

I love DPP in Madden 12 and would love to see it in the NCAA series.

New animations, more variety PLEASE. I'm tired of seeing power backs running like scat backs, pocket passer running like scrambling QB. Also tired of everybody having the same throwing style and tackle style.

This is extremely tough to decide on. I loved DPP in Madden 12 and think it could add something in the game(scramblers). I would also love newer animations. I never really fear a power RB and since juke is ineffective and BCV needs to be vastly improved, scat backs arent really effective unless 93+ speed. Having realistic fumbles and injuries would make viewing replays more fun. I would like to see different throwing styles.
I would choose DPP, but I am not sure if Player Traits will be allowed even if randomized. So I chose Animations. I would also like to see Madden QB rating

DPP. based upong the description, you'd have to give every player a couple of tendancies in order to have a "genuine and noticeable gameplay style." this would allow a big hitting safety to play like taylor mays, or a pure speed rb to play like jeff demps, etc. thats more valuable to me, than just making the game's animations play smoother.

So true. They need animation packs. A certain juke move for players with good juke ability. Different types of running animations for small and big/slow backs. I'd just like to see players differentiated by more than just ratings. Different animation packs depending on those ratings would bring a really fresh feel to the game.

I'd still want the dynamic player performance too though.

They do have some different animations for players with good ability. Namely with receivers, there are certain animations that won't trigger unless you have certain ratings at certain levels. Running backs have the same, I think, but I agree that they could use some bigger differentiation.

These are two of my biggest wants for next year. As much as I want DPP, the game sorely needs new animations. OL vs DL needs more animations besides just the win-loss we have now. There is no penetration and the middle of the pocket never gets "pushed" into the QB's face. I would be extremely happy if both of these make it next year.

What sliders do you use? I get a free running DT at my qb on a regular basis.

In my opinion, they could add both of these, and probably will. But, improved animations are more important. I'm still waiting for EA's football games to get out of this "Tron"-like thing they have going on...

I am not talking about guys not being blocked. I am actually talking about the exact opposite and having the DT just push the OL back into the QB's face so he cannot step up into the pocket. There is way to much all or nothing right now with all animations.
