As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

In-depth Create-a-Play

Everyone loves to draw up plays in the sand and NCAA Football gamers are no different. A create-a-play feature would allow them to make plays (and indirectly even formations) that do not exist in the game but do in real life. NFL Head Coach had a play creator where plays could be exported to Madden NFL 09, but the plays could not be used in Online play. If plays made in this feature could be exploits, many would not want them used Online. However, keeping people from using this feature in all game modes may diminish the benefits and reason for its existence.

Duplicate Numbers

When it comes to editing teams and rosters, users are confined to the numbers given to the default players out of the box or assigning open numbers. This feature would allow users to select any number (one per offense & defense) to help complete and perfect rosters to their liking.

CReate a Play without a question.
I would love the ability to create my own play. Along with Custom Playbooks, we could become off/defensive gurus

create a play/formation/package.

there are a ton of plays that are flat out missing from the game. being able to create a formation would be huge. additionally, i'd be able to create a 3rd down package, which could sub in fresh backups, or a zone personel package which might be needed on 3rd and long situations. it'd give each user the ability to import their own creativity into the game. for the people who are afraid of the exploits? easy! add an option in your online settings to disallow custom plays/playbooks.

If duplicate numbers is considered a feature I'm done with NCAA. Give me create a play~ now that adds to the football experience.

It may not be a 'full-fledged feature,' but definitely fits into 'Other.' (Technically this bracket is 'Features/Other' but we shortened it just to Features for the sake of space.)

This is so tough for me, create a play would be extremely fun but there would be so many exploits that could be used that I would bet most would be frustrated after it was implemented.

With duplicate numbers, here at PSU there are quite a few players that have the same number and I would love to see this in NCAA.

The create a package part is something else we need. That only makes sense to have. I love having control over a program as if I'm a coach.

Create-a-play. Sorry duplicate #s fits right up there with adjustable dreads lengths on my priority list

Create a play sounds good and all, but everybody needs to think about this. The cpu can't even run the plays they have now CORRECTLY, so how in the world would they be able to run something the user created ? It will be the same problem. People going to create plays and the CPU not going to run it correctly. They need to fix blocking AI, real assignment AI, ball carrier logic AI and QB AI FIRST before we even think about create a play feature.

Ummm, I plan on running the plays I made. I let the CPU run their own playbook.

But the CPU AI is controlling the other 10 players involved in your play hence where he is coming from.

For me there are just to many variables for me to vote for this one. Give it time and work some other things out first then we can cross this path over the next two or three years.

Duplicate numbers would be nice for more accurate rosters, but in-depth create-a-play trumps it by far.

In-depth Create-a-Play

While I do have concerns about people exploiting the game with the ability to create plays from scratch, it gets my vote solely because of the match-up it finds itself in here. Duplicate Numbers would contribute to realism because players can duplicate numbers in real-life, but I never find myself agonizing over this when I'm playing NCAA Football. After a few years of Dynasty mode, every player in the game is fake anyway so it doesn't matter to me what numbers they're wearing.

In a perfect world, both would be nice. However, I am personally leery of an in-depth editor and the potential for issues. I'd like to see a simplified version added first and then in-depth down the line.

Duplicate Numbers has never been a big issue for me, but I do understand the community desire for it. It gets my vote in this round.

I'm a HUGE roster and authentic guy...I have to go with the duplicate numbers on this one.
