As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

Practice Mode 2.0

Practice Mode is an area where many NCAA Football gamers devote hours of time learning their team, finding the perfect playbook, and preparing for their next Dynasty game. While the dev team has added the ability to pick a random play from a certain formation and an indoor facility to the mode in recent years, the community has been clamoring for more. Among the features mentioned: full-fledged Scrimmage Mode (offense runs series against defense - or vice versa - with full rules in place), ability to set Situation), on-screen indication of play result (as on last gen indicating catch in-bounds, touchdown, etc.), ability to use TeamBuilder squads, option to change playbook at any time in the mode, ability to change “opponent’s” playbook (to gameplan against upcoming opponent), drills (Option, Oklahoma Drill, DB Drills, etc.), ability to select random play from ALL formations, passing skeleton, etc. An improved and in-depth Practice Mode would be an excellent way for both casual and hardcore players to work on and hone their skills.

Tournament Mode (Online and Offline)

NCAA Football gamers play and fight for bragging rights as they aim to prove they are the best. While campus and dorm room tournaments help determine who is best among friends, a “Tournament Mode” from the Main Menu would give gamers the ability to fight it out in an easy manner and allow former classmates across the country to continue the tradition.

Among the numerous options that could exist in such a mode:

Ability to assign User Name to each squad to personalize experience
Single or Double-Elimination brackets
Four to 32 team brackets: BYEs where necessary
In-progress tournament savable to play over several days or weekends
Online capabilities: Incorporate mixture of/or offline and online tournament competitors
Archived tournament statistics and results
Ability to export and play with Dynasty and/or TeamBuilder squads
Editable tournament settings; perhaps for each round

Note: Tournament Mode is for a standalone feature/mode. This item would NOT be an option to replace the bowls in Dynasty Mode.

tournament mode

that would be a really popular idea, imo. with how many people asking for a playoff to be added, this could be a great addition to the game.

Tournament Mode (Online and Offline)

I have been waiting for a tournament option for my dynasties.

Practice mode for me hands down. It would be nice to have that kind of depth.

PRACTICE MODE!!! Do you know how much easier this would make game planning, make playbooks, etc?!?! I would be super pleased with this.

Tourny Mode. I have NEVER used practice mode for anything in NCAA Football and I NEVER will. I am not sure how much I'd use Tournys but it would certainly be > 0.

It was mostly used to try out new playbooks, etc. but it's definitely helpful at the beginning of a new season to see where your team stacks up.

I don't have a need for either, so I threw tourneys a bone.

Practice Mode 2.0

In my opinion, until you can set a scenario in Practice Mode and have rules apply as they would in a game situation, Practice Mode will always have significant limitations of usefulness for me. Real-life football practices--for good teams, anyway--consider scenarios and situations. Practice Mode in NCAA Football should do the same.

Tournament Mode would be fun, I guess, but I can't imagine having the time to sit down and go through an entire bracket in one straight shot and splitting it up over a longer period of time seems a bit silly when Online Dynasty could serve the purpose much better instead.

Tournament Mode would be great for community sites like TGT, but I went with Practice Mode. It would be a great standalone addition for some quick time with the game and would also be beneficial in Dynasty Mode to practice and really learn your squad. I used to play Practice Mode quite a bit on last-gen, but rarely do on PS3/360.
