As always, vote for the item you prefer. However, also state how you would like both features implemented into the game and indicate any specific elements you would (or would not) like to see added for each item.

Custom Conferences 2.0

One of the more-detailed and well-received features of NCAA Football 12 was the revamped Custom Conferences feature. As is the way with all video game features, there are more improvements and additions the community would like to see to further improve the feature.

Among the community requests:

Ability to go above 120 teams: The feature currently allows for reorganization, but not for the addition of programs. In real life, UMass, South Alabama, Texas State and UTSA will be joining the FBS ranks but they cannot currently be added without removing an existing program. Being able to add five to ten programs would allow for the “what if” scenarios featuring the aforementioned programs and others, such as Villanova, Georgetown and other TeamBuilder-created squads.
Dynamic Field Art: When selecting a (new) Conference Championship Game location, the existing field art is brought over. For example, moving or creating a CCG at the Holiday Bowl (Qualcomm Stadium) brings over the Holiday Bowl field art. This would see a conference specific field art for the game.
Dynamic Conference Uniform Logos: Currently, moving a team will change the conference logo on the field art, but not on team helmets and uniforms. This would either add in the new conference logo or remove the existing (and now out of date) logo.
Ability to rename, remove, edit entire conferences: While likely an aspect existing conference partners would not support, community members have frequently asked for the ability to rename, remove, or edit (IE: logo) conferences.
Dynamic Conference Prestige Recruit Pitch Rating in Dynasty Mode
Ability to edit conference tie-ins for all bowl games

Return of Mini-Games

This feature would see the return of not only the mini-games found in next-gen NCAA Football from 07-10, but also the mini-games from last-gen NCAA Football. Some in the community feel that these mini-games were beneficial in developing skills in a unique way or pressed for time. These mini-games could focus on training user abilities through popular past mini-games such as Option Attack, Pass Skeleton and various user skill drills.

Definitely Custom Conference 2.0
I like the ability to take off FCS West.
If Mini games were in other Feature list with Duplicate Numbers and Practice, it would get my vote

idk bout you guys. mini games are awesome. my friends and i always spent a ton of time playing them. not only are they a lot of fun, but you are able to hone your skills. idc about bowling or tug of war, but last gen mini games are awesome. especially if you dont have time to play a full game!

No brainer... custom conferences. Seriously, how do mini-games even make it into the competition?

It's low on the totem pole, but there's still enough people asking for them out there that they will probably almost always sneak into the field. Gamers typically like a mode that they can play when they have only 10-15 minutes, but there are not that many items in the field they would vote for mini-games over.

I'm gonna say right now, this will probably be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, blowout of the tournament.

I'd like to see mini games return. I have no idea why they removed them along with user stats two years ago. Made no sense. Backbreaker is selling mini games as paid apps. People love playing tackle alley. My son isn't interested in football yet but he loved playing tackle alley. It would be cool to have some mini games just so I could try to get my son a little more interested in football and have fun together with the game.

Custom conferences and this wasn't even a thought. They need to look at this to allow us to bring in these new teams and use them to truly build from the bottom up. Now that would be a blast!

I like the mini games. The NCAA will never allow EA give the ability to eliminate a conference. NEVER, big time branding and marketing thing.

I love how people complain about getting the game as true to real life as possible and then custom conferences is all the rage.

Mini-games please, as long as they aren't those lame mini-games from a couple of years ago. Bring back the mini-games that were part of preseason training and add them to practice mode. Passing skeleton, DB defend, option attach...etc.

Custom Conference 2.0 I never cared for the mini games, and never liked mascot mash up at all. For those wanted oklahoma drills, paas skeleton, etc........then they should add that to practice mode and not have it as a stand alone feature.

Never was a fan of mini-games so this one is easy...especially with the culture of conferences in the NCAA lately.

none of you guys did rushing attack on the ps2/xbox days?? it was a great way to take the best backs in the country in a fairly isolated environment and test their/your skills. Idk, i thought mini games did a great job of showing off the skills off your players because it was in a more isolated environment. not only that, but i was able to show off my skills more because there was more room to show off what you had on the sticks.

But that's the thing, custom conferences allows us to get or keep the game true to real life. If the Big 12 really had collapsed and died, well now I'm fucked in game in regards to keeping my conferences real because I can't kill/delete the Big 12 in my game. I can't add UMass to the MAC or UTSA to the WAC because we're not allowed to go over 120 teams. We'd have to remove current DI-A teams to add UMass and UTSA.

So while I can move Fresno State, Nevada and Hawaii from the WAC to the MWC, and TCU from the MWC to the Big East Big 12, I can't completely replicate the real life changes because I can't add the teams moving up from DI-AA and joining DI-A conferences over the next few years.

Custom Conferences (and CC 2.0) are just as important to keeping things true to real life, as they are for letting people go absolutely crazy with their conference setups.

Well said smooth, and one reason I want more options for custom conferences.

Custom Conferences 2.0

This one was a bit of a slam dunk; as solid as Custom Conferences are in NCAA Football 12, all of the suggestions in the original post detailing potential improvements to the feature would be welcomed whole-heartedly by me.

That said, I do miss Mini-Games in NCAA Football. I spent almost as much time playing the Mini-Games in NCAA Football 10 as I did playing actual games. I loved the opportunity to have "bite-sized" gameplay experiences if I didn't have the hour or so necessary to complete a full game. I also felt as though Mini-Games like bowling and option attack actually helped to develop specific skills like my red zone offense and defense and my ability to run an option-based offense.

I already told you, Chris, this is Custom Conferences 3.0 :P

While I'd love for the Mini-Games to return (I'm considerably more likely to play a mini-game than Play Now, and it's a nice alternative to Practice Mode) (and yes, I'm one of the guys always asking for it), I'd never pick it over Custom Conferences.

Both would be nice. The right mix of mini-games would be beneficial for a lot of players to work on user skills and to play the game when crunched for time. I played them quite a bit on last-gen, but not so much on next-gen (aside from Option Drill). I like the Passing Skeleton in Madden along with the RB Drill (I forget exact name of it right now).

As great as Custom Conferences was in 12, there's still room to grow and with the real-life changes still in motion, these additions may be bordering on 'must-have' category. Dynamic Conference Prestige Ranking is a big one. Dynamic Field Art (in CCGs) and Dynamic Conference Logos would really be awesome touches. Going above 120 might be difficult, but I think it would get a lot of use by people.

But, if those changes do happen, they are not happening in real life to next year. Thus NCAA 13 will have correct conferences. No conference is changing mid season.

Yes, in the real life NCAA 13. But what about when I hit the 2012-13 season in my dynasty in NCAA 12? I should be allowed to make every single one of those changes myself in my copy of NCAA 12 and not be forced to play with what would be outdated conferences, depending on what year/season I am in in my dynasty, while waiting a year for NCAA 13 to be released just so I can have correct conferences.
