    Guru's heisman sliders

i have always been (or have tried to be) a realism voice pushing for a true to life experience of college football that i experienced as a QB, and most of you appreciate the stuff i have put in to the forum, or at least i hope so lol... but i have NEVER put together a set of sliders before... until now...

i tried out all of the sliders listed and they played out well statistically... but, felt like i was running through mud the whole game... so i set out these last few days, and will continue to refine these over the weekend, to deliver a set of heisman sliders that give great true to life statistics, but still feels explosive during gameplay... ive spent a ton of time in practice mode just tinkering to get a feel of a good set of sliders to take to a game, and while i was getting a great feel, i soon discovered that there were some fundamental flaws in certain spots... here is the list of sliders current, and then 2 sample games of the first ones i played so you can see what im saying about the fundamental flaws...

    Spoiler: show

in the first game of course i took Oregon vs Oregon well thats obvious why... anyways... wow did i have to adjust pass blocking vs pass rush big time this game had 4 INT's all from getting hit while throwing... really jacked me up, and i was forced to really rely on my passing game and that isnt true oregon so i had to adjust the running game as i went... ended up not too too bad, but not where i wanted it...

second game overall that i played i settled in some penalty issues, tightened up the running game issues, toughened up the CPU pass coverage and tweaked the pass rush again... i had the ball at the 28 trying to score when time ran out on me... so the game was back and forth... had to adjust rush defense for the user and drop the RB ability a notch as Taua was spinning off and bowling over every single defensive player on the field... which in some ways isnt that far off from the truth... but anyways... i have some more stats ill post through the weekend... but this is the 2nd overall... seems i have it much more settled in... ill post the stats from one of my top programs, prob Bama vs Bama...

    **********GAME 2**********

One thing to consider with sliders like these, if you're going to use them for an Online Dynasty, is that sliders aren't used for User/User games. And there have been reports that playing with default sliders on Heisman is drastically different from default sliders on All-American. Namely, the running game becomes ridiculously dominant.

true... which i hate that its that way... i think the sliders should apply to any computer players not controlled by human in HUM v. HUM games... only makes sense...

Well ... sliders do apply to all the CPU controlled players.

But the default sliders are what apply, not the OD sliders.

Similarly, I noticed during my game against Papa that my autosub settings are totally reset for an OD game.

Well, yeah. That'd be the ideal.

What we've suspected before is that an OD User game is really just a Play Now Online game using OD teams. And that pretty much gets backed up with what we've seen this year with the sliders.

ive done some tests with these sliders as well starting at G and running 40's to check vs real life 40 times... and i have hit on everyone pretty close to within .04...

to make sure these arent just offense happy sliders (as im an offensive minded guy) im going to play some more games soon with more dominant D's as my team and lesser offense for the CPU and the stats should show...

I really like your slider set on Heisman. Much appreciated.

will try out tonight. I'm running my own set right now in my first game of my dynasty, really just default heisman and I'm beating troy by 40 at half.... I should win the game but it should be close, so I'll be redoing it.

i turned the numbers of ai and human around and and used them for varsity or freshman o.o". now i can play some tough games without actually sweating my back off for a field goal win

What has everyone experienced with regards to running the football? It has seemed excessively easy to me to rack up HUGE amounts of yards with simple dive plays using these sliders. Using Washington State I had over 475 yards rushing in my first game and my HB is averaging 15.3 yards per carry through two games. That doesn't seem right to me and I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
