I'm excited to be attending my first ever live fight. I'll be at the Strikeforce event that will be on Showtime (so if you get Showtime be sure to look for me) this Saturday night in St. Louis.
The StrikeForce event tonight was pretty good. Overeem looks like a beast...I can't believe he's lost 11 times though. (33-11-1, IIRC.) He called out Fedor after the fight, so hopefully we get to see that in a few months.
Yeah it was a blast to be at, and I was FRONT ROW BABY! Jacare has got to be one of my favorite fighters....I got to meet him and got a picture with him in the hotel lobby. Very nice guy and an awesome fighter. I got to meet a few other fighters like Dan Henderson, Randleman, Brett Rogers, Babalou, Tyron Woodley....almost all of the fighters are very approachable and definitely appreciate the fans....especially Hendo.Originally Posted by cdj
Strikeforce Challengers on Showtime Friday night. One of the guys that came out for dinner the first night we were in St. Louis, and hungout a good deal of the day Friday while we played EA MMA is fighting the 2nd to last fight...Tyron Woodley. Very cool guy, will definitely be rooting for him to stay undefeated.

Watching StrikeForce Challengers on Showtime...good event so far through 2.5 fights.
Midway through the event, Roger Bowling has been the most impressive. (I hope he doesn't get knocked out since I just typed that.)

Awesome, I'll look for ya. I gotta golf in the Cornhusker State Games this weekend so it will be early mornings for me, so staying in this weekendwill be around for the fight!
So what the heck happened to Fedor tonight? Tapout in the first round? Wow.
Yep it was nuts. Fedor knocked down Werdum, and I think that Fedor thought he had Wedrum and was nonchalant as he walked right into the triangle choke.
