Come on Costa Rica! Wow, can't believe the Dutch didn't score on some of those chances. Wow!

IF Costa Rica is a cat it has lost 8.999999999999999 of its lives. They basically started playing for the shoot out 15 mins into the 2nd half. That is WAY too early.

Well this last 120 mins is exactly why soccer will NEVER catch on in the US. It's the only sport I know where one team can totally dominate another in every facet of the game and still possibly lose.

The inevitable Dutch choke is yet to happen.

What a match! Hell of a run by Costa Rica this year and the Netherlands unexpected run continues. Good stuff.

30 minutes to kickoff in the first semifinal. The German Football Machine against a shorthanded Brazilian side. I fully expect Germany to secure their place in the final today. However, even without Neymar and Thiago Silva, Brazil has enough quality to have a chance (hell, some "experts" are still picking Brazil).

Germany will still have to play well to get through the hosts.

I was hoping that Willian would be in the Starting XI for Brazil today, with injury and suspension affecting their selection.

Goals at 11', 23', 24', 26', 29'. Ridiculous! The Brazilian people are openly weeping. Wow.

And it's just halftime. With a lead like that, Germany can play U.S.-style.

You know that the US manager is German, right?

Maybe Brazil should have played "US-style". The US only lost 1-0 to the Germans and had a chance right to the end.

Most shocking game in World Cup history! Wow!!! For me it wasn't that Germany looked amazing... Brazil didn't show up. Their D looked pitiful. How long until rioting and looting begins in Rio?

I thought I was watching and old highlight vid of CLW taking on JB in the TGT Cup there the way the Germans were slicing up Brasil.

Yeah. He does okay with it, hopefully he learns the game better over the next 4 years. It's been a bit of a controversy that FOX is going to use him.
