Meh the "biggest" problem I see is that outside of the "big boys" I don't see how EA is going to handle a "small school starter pack". I mean if you are a fan of a team other than a traditional power who is going to be in your pack? There are several schools that have less than 10 active NFLPA players:

My guess is the starter pack will have a featured player from that particular school, the rest will be bronze level players from other schools. Kinda like Madden where you start off picking the center piece of your team.

Maybe I missed it (admittedly I didn't read the articles very closely) but in FIFA there is a "bonus" if your players are from the same country or same professional league. I imagined that was going to be the case for NCAA as well (super bonus if same team bonus if from same conference).
One of the articles said that there is no chemistry or whatever so I assume it won't effect your players if they're from the same team.
We actually covered that in the podcast we recorded last night
Dirty Burt said there isn't the chemistry factor like there is in FIFA. I think he said they took it out of Madden starting with 13.

Those would all be great additions. I was just going off of SI' list of greatest players in college football history by number. I don't thinkis going to be short players though to fill out an entire team with.
