    She didn't finish this week. Ended up starting the race from 40th, and crashed out to finish 39th. Of course, she's still getting our own headlines everywhere. If she was actually putting up results, I could tolerate it, but one start from the pole, and it's like Tebow all over again with ESPN. Last week, I swear that was the biggest deal and most coverage ever about someone finishing in 8th place in a race.

    Danica was in the ads before she'd ever been in a NASCAR race. Surely this can't surprise you.

    Personal opinion, but 8th place, given her relative lack of experience in a NASCAR, is a "result". Not long-term, I agree, but it's also not Anna Kournikova (IMO).

    If you think it's Tebow-esque now, just wait until ESPN is actually broadcasting the races.

    I prefer the night race though. The night race is probably my 2nd favorite race to watch.
