The FA Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup are both about 2 weeks away and the start of the Premier League is about 3 weeks away. Are you ready for some football?

City and United were supposed to play in China today but too much rain created a cancellation. Pep is sad. Closing in on getting Jesus signed though! Pep now with 150% more Pep! Nothing like a manager named Pep.
Drogba still haunts the Gooners.

FA Community Shield is Sunday at Wembley. It will be good to have football back!
Didn't get to watch as much football as I would have liked to over the weekend but the opening weekend of the Premier League is on the books.
I guess the only real surprise was newly-promoted Hull City making Leicester the first reigning champion in the Premier League era to lose their opener. (Last in English top-flight was Arsenal in 89-90)
It was good to see Chelsea playing like Chelsea this afternoon and controlling the match against a good West Ham side, eventually getting a 2-1 result on Diego Costa's 89th minute strike.
Cesc Fabregas scored 2 goals, 2 minutes apart, in the first 4 minutes of extra time and Chelsea look to put the reigning league champs out of the League Cup.
Chelsea lead 4-2 after the first period of ET and the Foxes are down to 10 men.
Headed to the a first loss @ Spurs. 2-0 and it is not even that close.
It's gotten tight at the top, with 5 clubs separated by 1 point.
I like how far down Man U is, now if only they could get in trouble of being relegated....
The dude abides.
5:0 ass-raping of the Toffees to go top of the league!

You deserve top spot, especially after we had a draw Middlesbrough at home.
Leicester has yet to be defeated in Champions League play, but can't stop tripping over their own dicks in PL this season.

Chelsea's recent form in the league has been remarkable. 5 straight wins with 16 goals for and 0 conceded. This is since their formation change to 3 at the back. They have been playing brilliant attacking football and have been stifling on defense. 21-1 in shots today against the #6 side in the league. Ridiculous! It was like FIFA worth bad sliders.
All that said, long way to go in the season and there's a good chance that they'll be overtaken tomorrow. But for today, top of the league!
That 4-0 Costa Rica loss was the death knell. Klinsmann is fired.

There's no "you", just "they". All I do is watch.
That said, done. 30 matches spanning 26 years without a win at Stamford Bridge for the shit from Spurs.
Seven straight wins in the league for Chelsea but they finally conceded a goal after going 601 minutes without doing so.
Blue is the Color!
