Two UvU games this week, LSU at UAB and USC at USA. Everyone else is on a bye. Deadline is Thursday, 2/26 at 7am CT, but let's get these games knocked out quickly so we can get back on schedule.

LSU secures win against UAB, 34-31

For 4 quarters, LSU played solid on both sides of the ball holding UAB to just 10 points up until the 5 minute mark in the 4th. The Offense meanwhile put up 34 points putting together their most complete game thus far early this season.

LSU built the 34-10 lead via the Freshman QB Josh Brown who had a nearly perfect throwing day going 14-16 with 3 touchdowns. He also ran one in from 55 yards. TE Mark Brooks contributed 98 yards and caught 2 of Brown's 3 touchdowns in the game.

Things would however start to turn on the Tigers as UAB broke their 2nd half scoring drought with a 24-yd TD reception. The ensuing onside kick was unsuccessful, but the Tigers elected to simply keep the ball on the ground forcing a punt. UAB went to work offensively again marching down field and into the endzone taking time off the clock in the process. Their ensuing onside kick this time would be recovered giving them life again.

UAB scored once again seemingly easy all of sudden against a once solid LSU D earlier in the game. 26 seconds remained as UAB attempted another onside kick, but thankfully this one would be recovered to seal the victory.

Next up for LSU is a tough matchup against Penn State and star Heisman RB Roger Edwards.
