I don't think the Celtics are ready for a championship run on 2K12I saw their ratings, especially Jermaine O'Neal's. Same with CDJ, he's a Bulls fan.
It is a ploy I use anytime I play in a league online. I never take a good team, even if they are my favorite. That way if I end up getting thrashed by the competition, I can just blame it on my team selection. If some how I am able to do well in a league then it makes it all the more enjoyable. Win-Win.
Hell in offline association, teams like Minnesota and Charlotte would whoop me. No advantage for me in taking the Celtics
I'll go with my favorite team, the Denver Nuggets. While they're a somewhat good team, if it ends up anything like my Association mode with the Nuggets in NBA 2K11, this is going to be rough. I can't hit the 3, or deep 2 for jackshit with them.

I'm up for it if and only if they fixed the horrendous lag that existed in online games with 2k11, 2k10, 2k9, 2k8, and just about every basketball game they've ever made. If they do have that fixed, I'll roll with the Mavs.
Agreed! If they've fixed the lag, then this will be epic! I guess we will find out tomorrow. Sign me up w/ my Pacers, not sure how long they'll be around if contraction becomes a real issue in labor talks

That's the team that drafted me in My Player in 2K11.
I was drafted by the Blazers at SG to play behind Roy(pre-injury) and Wes Mathews.
I've had a couple of different ones. Mainly drafted by the damn Clippers and the Grizzlies at C and SF respectively. Which, of course, I asked for trades out of quite quickly. SF with the Jazz has been epic (pretty much the best player ever by the playoffs with some absolutely ridiculous games of 50+ points a game leading them to their first ever NBA Championship - this was pre-trade of Deron Williams to Nets so having Deron on the team made a big difference). C got bored with quickly once I got traded to the Celtics and just basically throw up 20 points and 20 rebounds a game while averaging a ridiculous 5-6 blocks a game (not even at the end of the trade deadline with that one though).
I'd like to roll with the Thunder if I can. Them or the Heattles
