    LEGO Dimensions (PS4, XB1, PS3, 360, Wii U)

It looks like Lego is finally getting into the toys-to-life business, taking on Activision's incredibly popular Skylanders games and Disney's richly diverse pop-culture universe of Disney Infinity.

A Reddit user this morning posted a picture of a bundle for a Wii U game entitled Lego Dimensions. The bundle includes the game, a Lego toy pad, bricks to make a Lego Gateway, a Lego Batmobile and three minifigs: Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle.

According to a Toys R Us listing, the game is coming to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Playstation 4 and Wii U and the starter bundle will cost $99.99.

I'll probably wait until it's $15 like I did with Skylanders we'll see how addicted I get to that game before even thinking about this one.

Oh shit ... when I saw the trailer this morning I didn't realize it was like Skylanders/Disney. I can't afford these types of games

These games are so over priced it's ridiculous. Skylanders became an unjustified craze around Christmas and people weren't thinking right. That has worn off. Disney has tried and failed recently too. The figures are just a money grab and these games get way too expensive. Worse yet, there is nothing special about the games either. We got swap force and a bunch of characters for the kids and they didn't even care much. Nothing special.

I agree with this sentiment. Our kids wanted Skylanders for Xmas. Honestly, upon finishing the game I don't think they have played in two months. Now of course they want Disney infinity...

And.....the toys-to-life fad is officially over. This had been rumored for quite a while.
