6-0 in Pick Em' unless Kensucky makes a miraculous comeback.

I got Navy with the points. Looks like a low scoring affair.

For some reason I don't get Oklahoma-Texas on TV where I live, so i'm forced to watch it on ESPN3.

Geez ESPN, let's make it complicated tonight ...

Everyone's going to need this: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/s...veragemaps2010

For me (and most of the East Coast + Big Ten + random parts of Montana and North Dakota) ...
ABC: Notre Dame @ Boston College
    ESPN: Penn State @ Iowa
ESPN2 Standard Definition: Stanford at Oregon
    ESPN2 HD: Washington @ USC

So the game I REALLY want to see ... standard definition only. Great.

LSU essentially uses rhombic's Edge Blitz concept to stop Tennessee on 4th and 1. They lined up 3 linemen and 2 backers starting at the center and going left. 5 linemen on 5 defenders. Inexplicably, the guard helps the center double team the NT on an outside run. And the guy on the end of the line goes after the DB that's off to the side. So now it's 4 on 2. LSU easily stops them.

I have never seen a game end the way I just saw the Tennessee-LSU game end. Wow.

Screw Les Miles and LSU. Luck into a win ... quite literally. LSU has :28 seconds left on the clock and 3rd and Goal from the 1+1/2. The don't manage to actually get a play off, because the ball is snapped with :02 to go and the QB isn't looking for it, so it goes flying backwards.

This is largely because LSU, inexplicably, decided to run a different personnel grouping into the game with :28 seconds to go and no timeouts. In the confusion, Tennessee swaps some people too ... and ends up with 13 guys on the field. 4 went off, 4 went on ... except one of the guys turned around and stayed on. 5+3=2, guys.

LSU is the worst #10 team ever. They better drop like a rock in the polls tomorrow.

    My perfect run has ended.

Still 9-3 so far this week.

Missed NC State; Michigan and LSU.

A Les Miles-like decision by ESPN.

Yeah, I was sleeping. Fridays/Saturdays are my days of hell. Work 10am straight through to midnight on Fridays (thanks to regular work stuff and then HS football broadcasts Friday night) and then I don't even get to go to sleep, as I am out the door and on the road by 2:30-3am to head to the other radio station I work at to do my morning show that I have on Saturday mornings, not getting home until after 10am and maybe getting to sleep by around 10:30 or 11.

So I pretty much miss any and every game on TV before 4 or 5pm. Add in the fact that I stayed awake until 1pm or so, so that I could watch a couple extra hours of the Ryder Cup on NBC, and it was around 7pm before I woke up.

But, my congrats to Air Force. I knew it was only a matter of time and this year they got the job done and were able to win. Every single Air Force-Navy game since 2003 (with the exception of 2007) has been won by 7 points or less, and even 2007 was only by 11 points. So it's been a very close game every year and I knew it would be so again this year.

Now to do something I never do. I hope Army wins when they play Air Force in a couple weeks. If Army beats Air Force, Navy just needs to beat Army at the end of the year and Navy will retain the C-I-C Trophy as the previous winner.

I am quite confident that Army won't even be in the ball game, let alone win.

As I said in the other thread, knew Stanford would shit the bed and blow the big game. I don't know what it is about them, but they always blow the big games, especially at the other team's stadium. That team just cannot win big games anymore.

The team that won @ USC, beat Oregon, and has two straight against Notre Dame can't win a big game "anymore"? Hell, you're associating the word "anymore" with a team that Walt Harris drove into the ground, and had only two winning seasons in the '00 decade.

Stanford didn't shit the bed in my eyes ... Oregon is just a freaking buzzsaw once they start rolling.
