I think the discussion on College Gameday about the stresses of the job of the head coach, how it's 24/7/365, and with the health discussions by Urban Meyer and Nick Saban after Dantonio's heart attack has killed any remaining "dream" I had of getting into coaching. I love the Xs and Os, but all the extra stuff (overseeing academics, keeping kids straight, etc) would be an early end for me.

Well NC State is KILLING GT. 0-1 in the Pick 'Em league. Damn I almost went with the pack but my inner Dookie just wouldn't let me do it.
yeah, VT looks to be my only win in the early games. Purdue getting beat by Toledo. I think they are fighting back, but the spread was 12 and I don't think they'll be able to score that many more points in only 1 quarter.
GT gets a pick 6, they are back in it. don't think they'll beat the 8.5 spread though even if they manage to win.

I do not understand what ESPN was thinking giving their 3:30 national timeslot to the Ohio State / Eastern Michigan game. This game rates 3:30 on BTN at best, probably more like 12:00 on BTN. Instead, it's the national ESPN game at 3:30.
So if you're on the Eastern Seaboard (ACC country), you get Wake Forest / Florida State on ABC and Ohio State / Eastern Michigan on ESPN. The rest of the country at least has a chance to see UCLA / Texas. Ugh.

One of the funniest ESPN calls I've ever heard:
"Buckeyes to the line on a 3rd and 7, opening possession for Ohio State. Pryor from under center. He will tuck it, and here's the first scramble of the day. The first stiff arm of the day. The first first down run of the day for Terrelle Pryor ... make it the first touchdown run of the day for Terrelle Pryor and the Buckeyes."
Pryor stiff-armed a loose defender about 2 yards behind the line, outran two guys to the corner, then cut back against the grain about 20 yards downfield and went it untouched.
