This game definitely interested me and I think it will be different from The Last Of Us once we learn more.

It seems like they built some zombie tech (World War Z, TWD-esque) and then developed their own game versus heavy licensing costs for one of the other two.
At least it didn't end with the player seemingly having an endless supply of ammo like last year.
Any ETA on this?

I haven't heard any yet JB. I'm assuming some time in 2018 although the sooner the better!
Same here but it seems like we will get another year of E3 videos before that becomes a reality.
From Metro UK
Maybe the are also working on a Syphon Filter reboot alongside it? I would love that. Interesting thing Metro mentioned was that Bend Studio has not released a console game since 2007, the Last Syphon Filter game. They have done a few PSP/Vita games but even then it has been 5 years since they release anything.Like most Sony E3 demos, the one for Days Gone was hands-off and recreated the press briefing gameplay trailer in real-time. This in itself was interesting, as it showed just how much the trailer had been massaged to appear as perfect as possible. The same section being played for real was filled with minor glitches and spoke to the fact that the game is so far away from completion it doesn’t even have a stated release year, let alone a specific date.
Although, considering that means it may not be out until 2019, it was all the more impressive that the game looked and played as well as it did.
Reports out that this game has been moved to 2019.
Development delay/issues or trying to avoid getting buried by RDR 2 & COD: BO 4?
