TV games:
A couple good games this week.
Air Force-Oklahoma
Iowa-Arizona
Florida-Tennessee
Nebraska-Washington
Maryland-West Virginia
Houston-UCLA
I hate playing Air Force. We have to scrap our normal defensive strategy for just one game and that's hard for a young defense. They'll challenge you mentally because they force you to play assignment football. If you miss an assignment or fit, they get yards. I really hate it because they are sandwiched between Florida State and Cincinnati. I think this is one game where our offense can help our defense out by continually putting up points and pushing Air Force out of their comfort zone offensively. The way they played BYU, I hope our guys are at full attention this week and don't suffer a letdown after FSU.
UH @ UCLA: The key to the game will be the playing status of Case Keenum, who suffered a mild concussion in the Coogs 54-24 win over UTEP. Coach Sumlin won't comment except to say that Keenum's status is day to day.
I'm obviously looking forward to the UT-TTU. I'm pulling for TTU, but Texas will likely win.
I'm praying Duke stays within 100 against Bama.
2 Things will be interesting to see in that game.
#1 Can Duke score against Bama? Their offense has looked pretty good thus far put up a lot of points/yards against Wake
#2 Can Duke even slow down Bama? Their defense has looked awful so far.
The Oregon State coach was quoted saying this week's game against Louisville was "our Super Bowl". Our 23-13 win over Eastern Kentucky was pretty scary O_o
I hope Louisville comes out and competes. Just keeping them close for most the game would have me feeling really good about our Big East games

Yep. Staying away unless something changes drastically. If I were to jump on, I'd wanna do it as soon as word leaks of Keenum playing (though I'm hearing that's a long shot now). Word is Houston would be -7 if Keenum were healthy and I know the -3 would go up if he does play. If word comes that he isn't playing, I'd strongly consider UCLA on the moneyline (to win outright). But, I'll probably let this one go.
Except for some late scores, Cincinnati looked terrible versus NC State last night. I know coaches are very important, but it seems like the loss of Kelly plus the addition of Jones & staff have hurt them.
Two good games tonight, Kansas at Southern Miss and Cal at Nevada.
Two games you don't really care much about on Saturday, but love to see them on a Friday or any other day during the week.
Kaepernick finishes with a shade under 150 rushing yards. Vai Taua finishes with 150 exactly. Nevada gets 318 total out of the Pistol against a team that whipped Colorado 52-7.
So, Nevada 52, Cal 31. Cal 52, Colorado 7. Good grief, Nevada's offense was great tonight.

Nevada was great tonight. I was counting on their recent struggles vs BCS schools to continue, but they finally came through and in impressive fashion.
Case Keenum has received medical clearance to play, but Sumlin still has not said who will start.
