Madden is Too Generic

That graph makes me sick to my stomach! That is why EA/Tiburon will never create a great and fun franchise mode... they don't have to.

Yep I've conceded this and unless/until proven otherwise this is the last Madden I'm buying. I'll simply rent it from GameFly and mail it back after the easy from now on.
