Awesome! Site of the 2016 Open Championship.

A look at 17 at Sawgrass:
The graphics & crowd volume are very impressive.
More pics from Sawgrass.
The course comparison video series seems to have come to an end.
Game is impressive graphically but where is the info on the "modes" including what should be an online tour mode.
Since it doesn't release until mid-July, I'm sure it's going to get a ton of time at E3 and we'll find out everything about modes and the rest of the enchilada.
I'm certainly looking forward to it. While The Golf Club is fun, I'm still looking forward to playing on the real courses again.

Bay Hill latest announced course for the game.
The gamestop magazine GameInformer arrived today in the mail. It has a 1 page article on Rory McIlroy PGA Tour.
The morale of the story is it doesn't say anything new. On a side note, I must be getting old, they write this article like EA is re-inventing the wheel. It goes on to say "by fan request" they are bringing back the old 3-click swing meter as one of the 3 different options of how to swing. I guess I would not say it's a new feature it's just including something that used to be in the game, I guess that's a fancy way of saying it.
It doesn't list any courses, but does say it will not include The Masters or all 4 Major Courses at release but they may be added later as DLC.
It also says Jim Nantz will no longer be the commentary. The new commentary will be done by The Golf Channel's Rich Lerner and Frank Nobilo, which is a plus in my opinion.
The release date shows July 14.
As far as any new features the only thing it talks about is the new drop-ball feature. I makes it sound like you'll be able to pick where you drop the ball instead of hitting it into the water and the CPU deciding where you take your next shot. In theory you should be able to hit from the original spot, or any point in-between you and the hazard in line with where your ball entered the hazard.
It also talks about a "new swing interface element" (which again doesn't sound new, just re-introduced) it says this indicator will show when you are at the top of your backswing, if you go past this it can affect the outcome of your power and/or accuracy. It seems like this was a feature in the past.
There are 4 game images, 3 are different shots of Rory hitting shots (which by the way they look like they've modeled him pre-workout and bulk up, he looks like a slimmer version of the current Rory) and the 4th screen-shot details the different gameplay styles 1) Arcade 2) Classic 3) Tour 4) New Custom
I would say this is my most anticipated game for next gen.
Here is a picture of the article, sorry about the quality I'm a newbie at this stuff:
