All those SEC teams in the bowls

Jeff gets to experience what G and I have been dealing with past 2 seasons. 99's backing up 99's

He'll probably have 3 interceptions and rush for 250+ yards on them though lol

Lol. I fully expect to get Yeldon'd, or whoever their RB is. But I'm happy to get there and happy I didn't get bumped down to the Rose

Yeldon is a backup I think now at 99 haha

    It's Henrey now and he's a 99 too!

QB may be in 90's as well, know their Line is impressive.

Long time observer of this league. Is it possible to join you all? I used to run a couple of dynasties a couple of years ago. Had to put it down for a bit after I had my first child. Looking to join an active dynasty. You wouldn't have to worry about me being active as I know how important it is to have people contribute more than the minimum. I also enjoy the write up aspect after the games. If possible I'd like to join and play the bowl game to see what I'd have to work with. Thanks for the consideration.

Ohio State wins the National Championship!

In a massive upset, both in talent and according to the sportsbooks, #1 Ohio State proved it deserved it's top ranking, defeating #2 Alabama with a game winning field goal as time expired, winning 41-38.

The game was back and forth for the entire contest. Ohio State forced a field goal on Alabama's opening drive, gaining the early upper hand on the scoreboard. But every time Ohio State would force a 3rd-and-long, or similarly desperate situation, Alabama would find a way past the Ohio State secondary and get a long touchdown pass. Three Alabama touchdown drives were on passes longer than 50 yards, with another 28 yarder thrown in for good measure. Ohio State's big advantage, besides its ground-and-pound offensive style that was able to get just enough against the Bama defense, was in the kicking game. Three Ohio State kick returns were brought back more than 40 yards, giving the Buckeyes a huge field position advantage. The Buckeyes running game did the rest, running for 275 yards on 46 attempts, and scoring four of the five Ohio State touchdowns. Alabama's running game was kept largely silent, running for only 16 yards (including sacks), though Coker's 439 yard passing effort covered for the running attack's lack of threat. Ohio State was also 10 of 11 on third down, while holding Alabama to 5 of 8, plus a stop on fourth down. Ohio State also limited their mistakes, throwing one interception, though that pick came at a bad time as the Buckeyes were up 7 at the time and could have stretched their lead to 14.

3rd place Heisman finisher Marcus Avery was 13/17 for 125 yards and 1 TD, plus 20 rushes for 116 yards and 2 TDs. HB David Edwards added 16 carries for 109 yards and 1 TD. Freshman All-American Kris Davis ran only 4 times for 20 yards, though he did catch Avery's first three passes including the game's first touchdown, before being taken out of the game with a mild concussion.

For Alabama, Jacob Coker led the way, throwing 22 times for 19 completions and 439(!!) yards, plus four touchdowns. Coker was sacked three times. Derrick Henry was completely taken out of the game, running 10 times for 35 yards. TJ Yeldon got a 2 yard touchdown (be sure to check out the ridiculous highlight) in his only carry. The Bama receivers were the stars of the show, going (receptions/yards) 6/77 for OJ Howard, 5/140 (+1 TD) for Chris Black, 5/187 (+3 TDs) for Robert Foster, 2/14 for Cameron Sims, and 21 yards for Derrick Henry on his single reception.

Back to your regularly scheduled broken tackle program..

Duke Johnson and Miami destroys LSU. Johnson goes for 300+ rushing yards and 5 TD's

Just as a reminder, I work until roughly 930 pm central Monday through Friday. After last year's mess, I'm planning to do very little offseason work from the web.

Understandable, though I think the majority of those issues was because it was advanced from the web. In the past, I've done full offseasons from the web.

Yeah, there are some parts I'm going to insist on doing from the console. Others I won't be so concerned with.

I was a console only guy for stuff too, but the offseason stuff works very well IMO on the Web.

I'm doing all my stuff from the console. Every time I try and do it from the web, there's at least one thing that doesn't save.

Huh? wat? Do you not remember last season, when almost everyone's position changes didn't take? Or some, such as mine, only halfway took?

There's some things I don't worry about ... recruiting seems to work great from the web (though my Recruiting numbers this offseason are going to be a little crazy, so I want the control of the console). Cut Players is probably a No Fear Zone, because I honestly don't see how that could go wrong. But Position Changes blew up in everyone's face last year. And I have so many changes to make there's no way I'm trusting the web again.

Escobar ran into the Ole Miss Hugh Freeze so he couldn't play his game. I'm hopping on to advance now.

I'll be home in a couple hours.

I thought we were going to fix that?
