$59.99? For a digital only game. That could be a gamekiller for me.
I'm sure there's a dedicated thread somewhere but can't find it...

I still don't don't understand the point or objective of this game. Simply exploring and animal collecting seems like it would get really old fast. I can't even finish watching YouTube streams without quitting. After 2 minutes I get super bored.

I was expecting it to be $60, I don't get the outrage.
That was a good video Jaymo.

They can price it however they want but until the game is released and how content filled it is, speculation on pricing is natural thing. Especially for a game that has been delayed so often and many people have no clue as to what exactly you are doing. I will not pre-order it because the game has yet to show me it is worth doing so. Tons of hype, then silence, rinse and repeat.
I do not need some random youtube douche bag to tell me otherwise.

Game comes out in less than two months. Interesting article as the game was almost cancelled back in 2013/14.
Interesting clip from someone who has played the game.
I'm tempted to wait a few days and use my Sony Reward points to get it for free....I think I can hold off a couple days til it arrives.

The ambitious space exploration game No Man's Sky has reportedly been pushed back from its expected June release date.
Sources close to Kotaku have reported that No Man's Sky has been pushed to "at least" July or August. It was originally expected to launch on the PlayStation 4 and Steam on June 21.
Kotaku had an initial "reliable" source who reported the delay, while a second source working at retailer GameStop said their store was instructed to cover up any mention of June 21 on No Man's Sky marketing materials with a "Coming Soon" label. Photographic proof was provided.

Sad but not surprised. If/when this game releases I will be shocked.
Ugh but that's okay I have plenty to play.
