Iron wastes a slot. If you need it, you can easily go outside and find some, but it's not worth much.

To some degree, you can say the same about Carbon.

I was off. I have 34 slots in my suit. I think the last upgrade cost 200k. Then 19 in the ship and 19 on the multi-tool.

Currently I'm at 16 on the ship, 14 on the suit and 20 on the multi-tool.

So, how do we feel about the game now?

Ask me again in a week or in a month but right now I think it is phenomenal.

I'm not sure what twists it will take or what new experiences are ahead but I'm very engaged with what I've experienced so far.

I finally found a planet that had all the right conditions for me to want to explore for hours.

The climate and radiation/toxicity were no concern, the terrain was interesting, the caves were seemingly endless, the flora and fauna were very lush and there was plenty of animal life.

Consequently, I got the trophy for finding every species on the planet.

I'm with you on that sentiment. I think there are twists in store. I think I heard something about black holes that may exist. Didn't read into it as I wanted to be surprised.

Shit, if Steeler is loving it, I'm definitely gonna have to get this game over the next couple weeks. He's usually pretty close to my taste in games, so if he's enjoying it, I'll enjoy it.

It took me a couple of sessions playing it to really decide if I was going to like it. I think what flipped the switch for me was the aggressive animals and the intolerable climates and atmospheres. Add in sentinels and pirates and you never have a totally safe feeling which is awesome. And, hell, like I said, I'm not sure I've scraped the surface on what kinds of threats are out there.

Well, I was already interested in this game, but you putting your stamp of approval on it seals it for me. I've never been let down by a recommendation by you.

Cool, man. I didn't realize I'd ever steered you to any games but I think you'll love NMS.

I'm sure there are a ton of surprises down the line, I know I'm not even close to the center of the universe. Right now I'm kinda trying to get all species on this one planet, plus it is a HUGE planet and plentiful in gold as I'm at 1.3 million credits right now, so I'm a good place to just sit and stay for a little while.

I think I'm about 179,000 light years from the center.

That sounds about right. I'll give a report on that when I get home

I guess this game has died a little with the Madden release? I hope everyone gets backs to it soon. It's a lot of fun.
