I found a new type of sentinel last night too, it's kind of like a giant grasshopper that shoots a constant laser beam. I also landed on a planet where the sentinels were right on my ass the moment I got off the ship; which was interesting. I couldn't do anything without them attacking me.
I haven't seen any hostile sentries yet, unless I break into a Manufacturing Plant. Yeah that Grasshopper looking sentry is fierce. Fortunately I accessed the terminal before he had a chance to kill my character.

I saw the ship of my dreams last night... 25 inventory slots! Sadly though, it costs 1.8 million units.

Yeah when you land on the planet, it will tell you the tendencies of the sentries and it was HOSTILE lol yep barely step out of the ship and they're on my nuts. I need to gear up and see what they're hiding.

Dumb question (maybe): What is "move and stack" in the Inventory area? It's not real clear on what I can or should do here.

Is it just for combining items when you don't have the max in one? IE: 300 of 500 Iron in Starship, move 200 of 500 Iron from Exosuit to ship, and then 'move and stack' together?

That's correct. If you have 2 partials some things you can combine.

Just found the hottest planet so far at 291°C which is 555°F. That will burn your pizza.

So what's your strategy? See as many planets as quickly as possible? I have only been to two systems and I am exploring every single inch of each planet before moving on. At present I have fully explored six planets and just arrived on my 7th planet to begin exploring.

I'm doing about one of each thing on each planet. I've been to 8 systems, maybe about 16 planets.

Are you free exploration or are you following the path to the centre?

    Tool: 12 slots
    Ship: 12 slots
    Suit: 22 slots

I'm piling up the milestones. However, the upgrades are sooooo expensive

Water planets are a real challenge in this game. They also tend to be cold and most of the sites u need to visit are deep under water. The suit temp and air capacity make it difficult.

FYI.... I have now met 15 aliens and learned over 50 words. I have a special relationship status with the V'kyeen ( they look like walking rhinos).

Downloaded this for my daughter for her birthday next week.

I played a couple hours and was kind of neutral about it. I'm already tired of gathering elements etc. I don't think I'll get much mileage out of this unless something really hooks me.

For the record, I've been to 2 planets and one space station.

I can see with the repetition. Personally I love exploring and discovering new plants and animals. That being said, will I feel the same way in a couple of weeks?

Last night I warped into a new system and I arrived in front of a planet with a number of ships in front of it. I then get a message from the planet saying "We are atlas. Come find us." I go to the planet and fly everywhere but the closet I can get is 16 minutes away. I am of the opinion that the Atlas I am looking for must be underground. The planet itself has a lot of storms. Within minutes the temperature goes from 25C to 96.6C and in a storm like that, my suit cannot hold up. I have been caught three times in major storms and barely survived each time just finding shelter in a cave or abandoned outpost. I will need to try and find a massive cave that I can fly into the mouth of so I know my ship is close before AI begin to explore.

Anyone else found Atlas stuff yet? Any helpful ideas?
