Yeah I jumped on a really good deal a while back to get me to 2017, then I'll probably jump on a really good deal this November for another year.
The dude abides.
PlayStation... buddy brought over Resident Evil... wow!
PlayStation 2: NCAA FOOTBALL 06... my first ever college football game (game wasn't sold in Canada yet)
*** honourable mention... GTA Vice City
PlayStation 3: NCAA 14... best "next gen" game of the series!
PlayStation 4: Delivery day... first time I ever bought a system for day one... waited all morning for the delivery. Good times!
PlayStation - Final Fantasy VII. That one game I got with my console as a Christmas surprise as a kid, starting a lifelong enjoyment of one of the greatest video game series in history.
PlayStation 2 - NCAA Football, GTA Vice City and Final Fantasy X, three games that probably should have completely worn out my PS2 over the years. That damn little black box just kept chugging along for a decade.
PlayStation 4 - MLB The Show. The very first game I bought the day I bought my PS4, and the very first game I played. After years of hearing about how great The Show was while stuck with MLB 2K on the 360, I finally got my first taste of baseball glory and it was good!
PSX - Walking into Funcoland and finding a copy of this on the shelf.
First college football game with licensed 1-AA teams.
While I loved FF7, I tend to remember 8 more since it was released the same day as the Dreamcast. That was an expensive trip to Toys R Us.
PS2 - Had 5 or so games well before the system was even released. Playing Timesplitters for the first time was pure bliss.

The sound quality when moving to CD from cartridge was incredible. Resident evil was fantastic that way. Still remember my brother literally dropping his controller when dogs crashed through the glass windows.
I too played NCAA 06 as my first fame and loved it! Also had to import it. But I also had to hunt down a ps2. A coworker ended up buying it for me at toys r us while he was Christmas shopping and I bought it off him.
I remember the ps3 being inferior in frame rate and being disappointed with NCAA for a long time. But after being a sports only guy it pushed me to Uncharted. Blew me away.
Looks like Twitch may get a run for its money now
No... they backed out of the deal at the last minute. Instead, Amazon bought Twitch and Youtube started their own gaming-centric service: https://gaming.youtube.com/
Sure. I'll join for the event I play online. I am interested in Live pro am.
I have an early access Beta code for Killstrain which has 2 upcoming sessions today 10/1 and Saturday 10/3 from 5pm-Midnight PST.
If anyone is interested let me know b/c I'm not sure I can make either with the newborn and all.
