Coaching Contracts
All contracts must be completed before I am able to move on to another job. For example, my current contract is for four years as the offensive coordinator of the Texas State Bobcats. So before I can move to another school I must complete all four years at Texas State as their offensive coordinator. I will not be jumping around to different jobs all the time, the fun in playing the game is taking a team like Texas State and turning them into a powerhouse. There are two exceptions to this rule and they are as follows.
1. For some reason I happen to get fired, if this happens I may only take a job with a school of equal * rating or lower, so using Texas State as an example, if I get fired from them after one year I would only be able to take an offensive coordinator job with a 1* school.
2. If the head coach of the school I am under contract with gets fired or moves to another job. In this case I can choose any of three options. First I can remain in my current position, second I can take the head coach job of the school I'm at if offered it, or follow the previous head coach to his new school if offered the offensive coordinator job at his new school.
When my contract is up I can explore new jobs with some restrictions.
1. If going for a head coaching job I can only take jobs at schools with the current prestige of my school or lower. Example: My contract is up at Texas State and they have raised to a 2* team overall. That means I can take a head coaching job at a 2* or lower school only.
2. If taking a offensive coordinator job I can only take jobs at schools with prestige 1* higher than my current school or below. Example: My contract is up at Texas State and they are now a 2* team overall, I can take an offensive coordinator job at a 3* or lower school.
Scheduling
All conference games will be determined by the computer obviously and can not be changed even if I wanted to change them.
Non-Conference games are as follows. And the example is based on my scheduling as a 1*team.
6* team -- Can only schedule 1 game against them and it has to be on the road.
5* team -- Can only schedule 1 game against them and it has to be on the road
4* team -- Can schedule a 3 game series, 2 on the road and 1 at home
3* team -- Can schedule a 3 game series, 2 on the road and 1 at home
2* team -- Can schedule a 2 game series, 1 at home and 1 on the road
1* team -- Can schedule a 2 game series, 1 at home and one on the road
Recruiting Restrictions
These rules are designed to make it harder for me to raise my team through the rankings at blazing speed, and to stop me from over signing.
1. The number of players I can sign each year is formulated in the following way.
# of seniors graduating
# of transfers out
# of transfers in
# of stars of current team prestige
# of players leaving early
Example: I have 15 seniors, 0 transfers in or out, 0 players leaving early and my team is a 2* team, so I may sign 17 players
I may scout as many players as I want up to 25, but the scholarships offered can only be as many as the 17 players in the example above.
2. Players leaving early may be talked into coming back to school, if they return though I can not sign a player to replace them.
3. Caliber of players I can recruit is based on my teams current prestige. And the rules listed below are for a 1* team
-- Completely off limits
-- Completely off limits
-- 1 may be signed
6 or less may be signed
Unlimited
Unlimited
4. Cutting of players is restricted to freshman and sophomores only, once a player reaches their junior year they are no longer eligible to be cut
5. Red shirting of players is not restricted to the players year in school but to a total number each year. That number is 5, so no more than five players a year can be red shirted.
Injury Settings
Injuries in the game are in my opinion way lower than they should be so I found a system that someone else proposed that I'm going to use to make it more realistic, it goes as follows.
Combined with

after each week spin the wheel of destiny!
1) Click generate for the 1st number to see if there's an injury
2) If there is click the generate button again to see the length of the injury
3) Then click a 3rd time to see which poor soul gets the injury. Repeat if you got 2 injuries on your 1st number "spin".
edit: If you have a 3-4 the DT 3 would become your MLB3
