    Ratings sliders test results

I will be posting the stats from the two games I played. The first game against Oklahoma (CPU) the stats are skewed some because I threw two pick 6's in the first half after some semi-long drives. Also that games was played on 7 min quarters before I realized it wasn't giving enough plays per game.

The second game against Ok State (psusnoop) was on 8 min quarters. We noticed that throwing the ball you have to put touch on your throws, especially on deep routes. If you try to bullet every throw you will have errant passes. In this game pretty much all my throws were short ones or bubble screens. That's why my completion % is a little high. Gardner doesn't have the accuracy for me to try and throw deep passes all game.

Overall I like the variance in gameplay depending on the team/ratings matchups. Aaron Colvin (OU CB) is a beast in coverage and jumped a curl route I tried to throw to the much shorter Jeremy Gallon. He proceeded to run it back for a TD.

Just finished a game with the updated sliders. I feel like these are the best set I have used, because you can get a sense for teams strengths and weaknesses. NC State really had a nice interior run d because of their DT's. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2045268180

Tex & I played a game using these sliders. We both had fun with it and other than 75 yard run that I picked up while trying to run out the clock, it was a solid result.

One change I did make from his 7/20 sliders was that I put the threshold at 20. It might could be bumped up a little but at the same time, when you broke away, you didn't have to worry about getting caught from behind by a slower player.

Here's the full game if anyone wants to watch it:

I might as well not even bother with my slider attempts

I did notice the difference in breakaways at 20, but it seemed like it was causing some weird animations. After testing in a couple games, I settled in at 23 for the threshold. That seemed to give a good mix of breakaway ability while still maintaining the smooth gameplay.

I had a lot of fun with this slider set last night against Escobar. He won 35-33 after putting me in the hole 35-7 at the end of the first half. You really need to have a good QB and you've got to really be conscious of your touch when throwing passes.

All in all this was really really fun.
