Agreed. The future is definitely bright for the franchise.

All I see was a couple big L letters against them earlier this decade.

Talk about taking an L: http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=282850130

I wonder why Michigan fans forget this happened?

    1. Nobody asked you.
    2. Who said anything about forgetting?
    3. I thought this was much more interesting since it was the #1 team in the nation taking a nosedive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdMUv5-z1jQ

And I think that's about enough of that.

    Back on topic, yes?

Well, of the many bad losses in Michigan history, most people never bring that one up. As far as that video goes, That wasn't the first bad loss that came to mind. But hey, it's cool. I hereby remove myself from this conversation.

All in good fun, guys. I should have put a smilie up there, just in case the joking wasn't caught.

It's safe to say I'm going to wait until the 2nd patch to start my official Michigan dynasty.

The picture looks amazing by the way.

    Any word on this?

I'm going to assume it will affect current dynasties and restarts won't be necessary. EA patches almost always work that way. The only exception I remember was a bug in a Madden game a couple years ago that was directly related to franchise. To fix that problem you had to restart a franchise.

After re-reading the blog a couple times, it appears that the progression and dynasty fixes are going to be in the tuner set. Based on NHL 10 experience, dynasty should absolutely not need to be restarted if that's the case. At first I thought they were in the patch, where it would be a question.

That was my impression as well.

Now, that said, if the tuning somehow changes the actual base recruits, rather than just their progression, those currently in dynasty probably wouldn't see the changes until the following season.

However, I would suspect the change is to progression, not the base.

I'm going to guess it's some of both. Especially where specialists are concerned.

We'll see. Hopefully we find out sooner rather than later, 'cause I really don't want to waste a week on a pointless Dynasty.

I'm hoping that's not the case, because I'm already 4 games into my Navy dynasty.

    I totally agree.

I just can't fathom how progression alone will fix the incoming kickers. I'm in year 2 of my Dynasty and I'd guess that the Freshman kickers I've faced are between 33 and 50 percent on PATs (55 CPU KAC).

Heh, I'm on season 3 of mine but I'm thinking about starting off. It's just ridiculously easy to win now. It's boring as hell. Guess that's what I get for starting on '10 instead of just waiting.
