many many memories here.
Well that was seriously damn depressing. All those great moments as a kid, traded in for this shit we call life as an adult. The only thing that makes being an adult worthwhile is my own money to buy some games, and being able to sit back and enjoy a glass of scotch, brandy or cognac.
God damn it I miss my childhood SO much. That Nickelodeon Magazine commercial brought back SO many memories. Holy shit.
I'd have to say the last one is the most depressing of all
1. I never really got into renting until the Amazon digital age.
2. I REMEMBER PAPPY!!!
3. That damn ring toss pissed me off.
4. I loved Guts.
5. Pretty good movie, but they have nothing on Milo & Otis!
6. Don't think I ever had those.
8. TPIR, the best ever
9. When I had a computer as a kid for the first time I thought "SWEET FREE SOFTWARE". Fuck you Compuserve.
10. As a math geek, piece of cake.
17. I was more partial to Troll Books than Scholastic, I think Troll had a better selection
20. OVERPRICED
23. I loved Surge. Drank the shit out of that in high school. Nintendo Cereal? Tasted like CRAP.
24. I definitely remember Happy Meals coming in those.
26. Never played Crossfire for some reason.
28. Kid Pix ... holy shit LOL I remember that.
29. "It" was awesome. Loved the book.
31. I remember a friend who had that toy. Very trippy for it's time.
33. I remember PE on those four-wheel boards....those things were death traps for biffing it or running over your fingers.
35. I remember bitching in college when gas went up to $1.50
All this nostalgia tempted me to pull this out....
However, after watching this......think I will pass
Was fun when I was 12 though
My list of things that will never be seen again:
