    Destiny (PS4, XB1; PS3, 360)

Jeff from Giant Bomb also has a 30 minute video talking about what he saw in Seattle visiting Bungie this weekend as well as showing off some of the art that they've released as well as going over some press information that they've released:

Basically sounds like a mixture of FPS and MMO things.

Looks incredibly ambitious. Can't wait to try it out.

damn it why do all of these "epic" looking games have to be FPS. i literally cannot play a FPS w/o getting physically ill after 5-10 minutes of playing.

What a douche at the end. "How can anything be bigger than Halo? We'll find out."

Yeah in September when GTA V releases or when the next COD comes out or Mario...

But Bungie isn't just MS any more.

Bungie has experience with hug server loads through all the Halo stuff, any to be any way affiliated with the never ending pockets of MS they will probably have a smooth(er) launch. I think Sim City at this point has opened us eyes to things.

Nah. The stigma started with Diablo 3 and just continued from there.

Unfortunately, both of those games are shining examples of why companies shouldn't do the always-on thing, yet, every MMO launch is a shining example of how to do it correctly outside of WoW. Guild Wars 2 had zero issues (as far as I know) from server loads. Extensive beta testing and a tiered launch is ALWAYS the best way to do it if you are going to do it.

They'll be fine. This game looks so ambitious that even if they do have issues, people will more than happily wait for them to get ironed out. For the record, I'm expecting them to get it right. Aside from Bioshock Infinite, this is far and away my most anticipated game. Everything Bungie touches turns to gold. They're one of the VERY few developers that understands how to develop a GOOD competitive shooter that doesn't appease the casual crowd.

They might pull it off but there is NO WAY IN HELL "people will more than happily wait" if "simcity" issues plague this game at launch. People will be just as pissed demanding refunds etc....
