Based on the chart of bowls in the College Discussion forum, it looks like we need to add logos to our extensive list of smilies for the Russel Athletic Bowl, Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and Heart of Dallas Bowl.

I wish there was a way we could incorporate these into our signatures until the NCAA Football 14 cover contest is over. That way, everyone who comes to the site would know what school you are supporting. I know this is way too big anyway. I'm just thinking out loud of course.

Same here. I often forget to delete old PMs, and even then, some I have had saved since clear back in 2010 just because various topics that were talked about in them that I want to keep for future use (strategy discussions for NCAA, discussions on other games, ideas for future NCAA games, etc) or in the case of PMs with Darius, try and keep them just for sentimental sake for those who no longer post or rarely visit here (whether through choice of their own or other reasons). So I am almost always constantly above 150-175 PMs between those received and those I've sent.

I second this idea.
Why is it that blogs have a 10,000 character limit, but a post has no such limit? In other words, why can I not take a post that I made to the forum and turn it into a blog? Why does a character limit prevent that?

I've found that searching by Google is way more effective than the forum search. I just usually do "the Gaming Tailgate" and then whatever I'm looking for.when i try searching for it, there's like 500 search matches
I don't seem to be getting emails for subscribed threads when a new post is made. It typically takes a little while but I haven't received one all day. I checked my settings and everything seems to be still set the same.
Using "site:thegamingtailgate.com" is even more effective
