I was worried, running on a laptop I bought back in May 2009, but I'll make it.

I've got an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and a nVidia GeForce 9800M GTS graphics card, so I'm good to go.

I am still excited about this game but the one thing that worries me a little is that the scale size for cities seems way off. Apparently you cannot build megalopolis type cities as "medium" seems to be the max size possible. The towers look good but the surrounding areas seem to small to feel realistic.

After watching that video I am even more impressed than I was before. I love how you can add to existing buildings.

For sure! I think that would be a lot of fun. I need to buy a new cpu before March but then we are good to go.

Yeah. Not a whole lot in that trailer, but I still can't wait to get it. It's gonna be one of the first games I buy day 1 in a while. God I hope they don't force me to use their proprietary bullshit to play the game. I WON'T be happy about that.

Well all I know is that you will have to be ONLINE 100% of the time in order to play the game. I'm not very happy about that...

(shrugs) I'm online 100% of the time already, so it really doesn't change anything for me. Also, with the progressive economy, there's no way they'd be able to do it without being online 100% of the time.

Also, unless the boxed version of the game is different, the digital version is only available through EA's shitty service. It's highly unlikely it's going to be any different for the boxed version considering the 100% online setup.
